5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Forward/Reverse Switch
The forward/reverse switch is located above the trigger. Push it to the left for forward rotation (drilling/driving) and to the right for reverse rotation (removing screws). For safety, always set the switch to the center position when not in use or when changing bits.
5.2 Variable Speed Trigger
The drill/driver features a variable speed trigger. The speed of rotation is controlled by the amount of pressure applied to the trigger. Pressing lightly results in lower speeds, while pressing fully results in maximum speed.
5.3 Speed Selector Switch

Figure 4: Detail of the clutch setting ring (1-15) and the two-speed selector switch (1 and 2).
The drill/driver has two mechanical speed ranges, selected by the switch on top of the tool:
- Speed 1 (Low): Up to 400 RPM. Ideal for driving screws, larger drilling diameters, or applications requiring higher torque.
- Speed 2 (High): Up to 1500 RPM. Suitable for smaller drilling diameters and applications requiring faster speeds.
Always change the speed setting when the tool is stopped to prevent gear damage.
5.4 Clutch Settings
The clutch ring, located behind the chuck, allows you to adjust the torque output. There are 15 settings, with '1' providing the least torque and '15' providing the most. The drill setting (indicated by a drill bit icon) bypasses the clutch for maximum torque during drilling applications.
- Lower settings (1-5): For driving small screws or working with soft materials.
- Medium settings (6-10): For driving medium screws or working with medium-density materials.
- Higher settings (11-15): For driving large screws or working with hard materials.
- Drill setting (drill bit icon): For all drilling applications.
Experiment with different settings on scrap material to find the appropriate torque for your task.
5.5 LED Work Light
The integrated LED work light illuminates the work surface when the trigger is pressed, improving visibility in dark or confined spaces.
5.6 Belt Hook
The belt hook allows for convenient temporary storage of the drill/driver when working at heights or moving between tasks.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
Regularly clean the ventilation slots of the drill/driver to prevent overheating. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the exterior. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Never immerse the tool in liquid.
6.2 Storage
Store the drill/driver and battery pack in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Remove the battery pack from the tool before storing for extended periods.
