1. Product Overview

2. Setup

2.1 Power Supply

The device supports two power supply methods:

1. Battery Power: Insert four (4) C size batteries (UM-2 equivalent) into the battery compartment located on the underside of the unit. Ensure correct polarity.
2. USB Power: Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the DC 5V port on the unit and to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.

2.2 Inserting a Cassette Tape

To insert a cassette tape, gently press the 'Stop/Eject' button to open the cassette compartment. Place the cassette tape inside with the open edge facing the playback head, then close the compartment firmly until it clicks.

2.3 Connecting Headphones/External Microphone

The unit features a 3.5mm headphone jack for private listening and a 3.5mm microphone input jack for connecting an external microphone. Simply plug your headphones or microphone into the respective ports on the side of the device.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Playback Modes

The device supports three primary playback modes:

• Tape Play: Insert a cassette tape and press the 'Play' button.
• USB Play: Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port. The device will automatically detect and play compatible audio files.
• TF Card Play: Insert a TF (Micro SD) card into the TF card slot. The device will automatically detect and play compatible audio files.

3.2 Recording Functions

The Cassette Player Converter offers versatile recording capabilities:

• Record to Tape: Press the 'Record' button while playing from USB, TF card, or using the microphone.
• Record to USB/TF Card: While playing a cassette tape or using the microphone, press the 'Record' button. The audio will be saved to the inserted USB drive or TF card.

3.3 Audio Conversion

The device supports multiple conversion modes:

• Cassette to USB/TF Card: Play a cassette tape and record it directly to a USB flash drive or TF card.
• USB/TF Card to Cassette: Play audio from a USB flash drive or TF card and record it onto a blank cassette tape.
• Cassette to Computer (via Audacity): Connect the cassette player to your computer using the provided Type-C data cable. Download and install the Audacity software (CD-ROM included or available online). Follow Audacity's instructions to transfer and convert cassette audio to your computer. Ensure only the original data cable is used for this process.

3.4 Controls and Functions

• Play: Initiates playback of the inserted media.
• FFWD (Fast Forward): Advances the tape quickly.
• REW (Rewind): Rewinds the tape quickly.
• Stop/Eject: Stops playback and ejects the cassette tape.
• Pause: Temporarily stops playback without stopping the tape mechanism.
• Record: Initiates recording.
• Volume Control: Adjusts the output volume of the speaker or headphones.

4. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Gracioso Cassette Player Converter, follow these maintenance guidelines:

• Cleaning: Regularly clean the exterior of the unit with a soft, dry cloth. For the cassette playback head and pinch roller, use a cotton swab lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol. Do this periodically or if sound quality degrades.
• Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity.
• Battery Care: If the device will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and damage.
• Handle with Care: Avoid dropping the unit or subjecting it to strong impacts.

5. Troubleshooting

• No Power:

• Cassette Tape Not Playing/Stuck:
