1. Introduction
This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient use of your LOYALHEARTDY Adjustable Expandable Conveyor Roller. This versatile unit is designed for material handling in various industrial and home improvement settings. It features an expandable length and adjustable height, along with lockable universal wheels for mobility and stability.
The conveyor roller is suitable for use as an infeed/outfeed table for machinery such as mortising machines and planers. It can transport various materials including timber, plywood, commodities, ores, coal, metals, sand, and cement. Its design allows for customization to meet complex conveying requirements, including curved, inclined, or horizontal setups.
2. Safety Information
Please read and understand all safety instructions before operating the conveyor roller. Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury or damage to the product.
- Weight Capacity: Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 110 lbs (50 kg). Overloading can cause structural damage or instability.
- Stable Placement: Always ensure the conveyor roller is placed on a stable, level surface. Engage the brakes on all universal wheels before loading or operating the conveyor.
- Moving Parts: Keep hands, clothing, and hair clear of moving rollers and expandable mechanisms to prevent pinching or entanglement.
- Assembly: Ensure all components are correctly assembled and tightened before use. Refer to the assembly section for detailed instructions.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect the conveyor for any signs of damage, loose parts, or wear. Do not use if damaged.
- Children and Pets: Keep children and pets away from the conveyor roller during operation and when unattended.
3. Package Contents
Verify that all components are present and undamaged upon unpacking.

4. Setup and Assembly
The conveyor roller requires minimal assembly, primarily attaching the universal wheels.
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging.
- Attach Wheels: Locate the four universal wheels. Each wheel has a threaded stem. Insert the stem of each wheel into the designated holes at the bottom of the conveyor legs. Securely tighten the wheels by hand or with an appropriate wrench until firm.
- Positioning: Once the wheels are attached, carefully stand the conveyor roller upright.
- Engage Brakes: Before any adjustments or use, engage the brakes on all four universal wheels to prevent unintended movement.

5. Operation
The conveyor roller offers adjustable length and height for various applications.
5.1 Adjusting Length
The conveyor features an expandable accordion-style frame, allowing its length to be adjusted from 18.1 inches (46 cm) to 51.2 inches (130 cm).
- Unlock Wheels: Disengage the brakes on the universal wheels if the unit needs to be moved for expansion.
- Expand/Retract: Gently pull or push the ends of the conveyor to achieve the desired length. The scissor-style mechanism will extend or retract smoothly.
- Lock Wheels: Once the desired length is set, engage the brakes on all universal wheels to secure the conveyor in place.
5.2 Adjusting Height
The height of the conveyor can be adjusted from 19.7 inches (50 cm) to 31.5 inches (80 cm).
- Locate Adjustment Knobs: On each leg, there is a black adjustment knob.
- Loosen Knobs: Turn the adjustment knobs counter-clockwise to loosen them.
- Set Height: Carefully raise or lower the conveyor frame to the desired height. Ensure all legs are adjusted to the same height for stability. The legs have markings to assist with even adjustment.
- Tighten Knobs: Once the desired height is achieved, firmly tighten all adjustment knobs by turning them clockwise to secure the legs.

5.3 Using the Brakes
Each universal wheel is equipped with a brake mechanism to prevent unwanted movement.
- To Engage: Press down on the lever located on each wheel until it clicks into place.
- To Disengage: Lift the lever on each wheel until it releases.
Always engage all four brakes when the conveyor is in a stationary position or when loading/unloading materials.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your conveyor roller.
- Cleaning: Wipe down the iron frame and rollers with a damp cloth to remove dust and debris. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish.
- Lubrication: Periodically check the moving parts of the expandable mechanism and the wheel axles. Apply a light lubricant if any squeaking or stiffness is observed.
- Fastener Check: Regularly inspect all bolts, screws, and adjustment knobs to ensure they are tight. Retighten as necessary.
- Roller Inspection: Check the rollers for smooth rotation. Clear any obstructions or debris that might impede their movement.
- Wheel Condition: Inspect the universal wheels for wear or damage. Ensure the brakes are functioning correctly.
- Storage: When not in use, retract the conveyor to its shortest length and store it in a dry, protected area to prevent rust and damage.
7. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter.
- Conveyor not expanding/retracting smoothly:
- Check for any obstructions in the scissor mechanism.
- Apply a light lubricant to the pivot points if movement is stiff.
- Conveyor unstable or wobbling:
- Ensure all four legs are adjusted to the same height.
- Verify that all height adjustment knobs are securely tightened.
- Confirm that the universal wheel brakes are engaged when stationary.
- Rollers not turning freely:
- Inspect rollers for debris or material buildup. Clean as necessary.
- Check if any rollers are bent or damaged.
- Wheels not locking:
- Ensure the brake lever is fully depressed.
- Inspect the brake mechanism for damage or wear.
