4. Setup
4.1. Charging the Mouse
Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the Lamzu Inca mouse. Connect the provided Type-C paracord cable to the front port of the mouse and the other end to a USB port on your computer or a USB wall adapter. The LED indicator on the mouse will show charging status.
4.2. Connecting Wirelessly (2.4GHz)
- Insert the 8K Dongle into an available USB port on your computer.
- Turn on the mouse using the On/Off switch located on the bottom of the mouse.
- The mouse should automatically connect to the dongle. If not, press the pairing button (if available, refer to the mouse's bottom for specific button layout) or consult the Lamzu Aurora driver for pairing instructions.
4.3. Connecting Wired
To use the mouse in wired mode, simply connect the Type-C paracord cable to the mouse and your computer. The mouse will automatically switch to wired mode and begin charging. Wired mode supports a 1K polling rate.

5. Operating the Mouse
5.1. DPI Adjustment
The Lamzu Inca features a PixArt PAW3950 sensor, offering up to 30,000 DPI. You can cycle through preset DPI stages using the dedicated DPI button, typically located on the bottom or top of the mouse (refer to Figure 3.5). For precise customization, download the Lamzu Aurora driver.
5.2. Polling Rate
The mouse supports an 8K polling rate in 2.4GHz wireless mode, providing extremely smooth and responsive cursor movement. This high polling rate minimizes input lag and stuttering, crucial for competitive gaming.

5.3. Lamzu Aurora Driver
For full customization of your Lamzu Inca mouse, download and install the Lamzu Aurora driver from the official Lamzu website. The driver allows you to:
- Adjust DPI settings and create custom profiles.
- Configure polling rate.
- Program mouse buttons and macros.
- Set debounce time.
- Update firmware.

5.4. Optical Switches and TTC Encoder
The Lamzu Inca utilizes optical switches, specifically requested from OMRON, to optimize click feel and prevent double-clicking issues. The TTC encoder ensures precise and reliable scroll wheel functionality.
6. Maintenance
6.1. Cleaning
To maintain optimal performance and hygiene, regularly clean your mouse. Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to wipe the surface of the mouse. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth with mild soap can be used, ensuring no liquid enters the mouse. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
6.2. PTFE Skates
The PTFE skates on the bottom of the mouse are designed for smooth gliding. If they become worn or damaged, replace them with the spare PTFE feet provided in the package to maintain optimal glide performance.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Lamzu Inca Gaming Mouse, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
7.1. Mouse Not Responding
- Check Power: Ensure the mouse is turned on and has sufficient battery charge.
- Wireless Connection: For wireless mode, ensure the 8K Dongle is securely plugged into a USB port and within range. Try re-pairing the mouse via the Lamzu Aurora driver.
- Wired Connection: If using wired mode, ensure the Type-C cable is firmly connected to both the mouse and the computer. Try a different USB port or cable.
- Driver/Firmware: Ensure the latest Lamzu Aurora driver and mouse firmware are installed.
7.2. Sensor Stuttering or Inconsistent Tracking
- Surface: Ensure you are using the mouse on a clean, uniform surface, preferably a high-quality mouse pad.
- Sensor Cleanliness: Check the optical sensor on the bottom of the mouse for any dust or debris and clean it gently with a cotton swab.
- Polling Rate/DPI: Experiment with different polling rates and DPI settings in the Lamzu Aurora driver to see if the issue persists.
- Interference: In wireless mode, other wireless devices might cause interference. Try moving the dongle closer to the mouse or using a USB extender.
7.3. Buttons Not Registering
- Driver Settings: Check the button assignments in the Lamzu Aurora driver to ensure they are correctly configured.
- Physical Obstruction: Inspect the buttons for any physical obstructions or debris.
