- Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during the brewing cycle.
- Ensure the water reservoir is filled to the appropriate level before brewing.

Setup
1. Unpacking
- Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Remove any protective films or stickers from the appliance.
- Retain packaging materials for future transport or storage.
2. Initial Cleaning
- Wash the removable water reservoir, K-Cup pod holder, reusable ground coffee filter, and drip tray in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a damp cloth.
- Perform a cleansing brew cycle: Fill the water reservoir, place an empty mug on the drip tray, and run a brew cycle without coffee. Discard the hot water. Repeat this process once more.
3. Filling the Water Reservoir
- Ensure the coffee maker is unplugged.
- Remove the 40oz water reservoir from the back of the unit.
- Fill the reservoir with fresh, filtered water up to the 'MAX' line.
- Securely place the reservoir back onto the coffee maker.

Operating Instructions
1. Brewing Coffee (Pods)
- Ensure the water reservoir is filled.
- Lift the handle to open the brew head.
- Insert a K-Cup pod into the pod holder. Close the handle firmly.
- Place your mug on the drip tray.
- Select your desired brew size (6/8/10/12/16/24 oz) and brew style (Hot Brew, Bold, Over Ice, Specialty).
- Press the corresponding brew button to start. The machine will automatically shut off after brewing.
2. Brewing Coffee (Grounds)
- Ensure the water reservoir is filled.
- Lift the handle and remove the K-Cup pod holder.
- Insert the reusable ground coffee filter into the brew head. Fill with your desired amount of ground coffee (do not overfill). Close the handle firmly.
- Place your mug on the drip tray.
- Select your desired brew size and brew style.
- Press the corresponding brew button to start.

3. Selecting Cup Size
- The coffee maker offers 6 brew sizes: 6oz, 8oz, 10oz, 12oz, 16oz, and 24oz.
- Press the 'OZ' button repeatedly to cycle through the available cup sizes. The selected size will be indicated by an illuminated light.
- The machine remembers your last selected preference.

4. Using the Milk Frother
- The milk frother can be used while attached to the machine or detached for individual use.
- To froth directly: Place the frother whisk into milk in a mug. Press the frother button on the machine.
- To detach and froth: Gently pull the frother unit from its magnetic attachment point. Place the whisk into milk in a mug and press the button on the frother handle.
- The frother is USB-C rechargeable. It charges automatically when attached to the coffee maker.

5. Iced Coffee Preparation
- Add water to the reservoir (6oz for capsule brews is recommended).
- Place a K-Cup pod or ground coffee into the brew head.
- Fill your cup with ice. A 1:1 ratio of water to ice is suggested.
- Press the 'OVER ICE' button to brew.

6. Brew Styles
- Classic: For a balanced, everyday coffee.
- Bold: For a stronger, more intense coffee flavor.

Maintenance
1. Daily Cleaning
- After each use, remove and empty the K-Cup pod holder or reusable ground coffee filter. Rinse under running water.
- Empty and rinse the drip tray.
- Wipe down the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth.
- The K-Cup pod holder, reusable ground coffee filter, and drip tray are dishwasher-safe (top rack recommended).
2. Cleaning the Milk Frother
- The milk frother whisk is detachable for easy cleaning.
- Rinse the whisk under running water immediately after use.
- Important: Do not immerse the main frother engine unit in water. Wipe it with a damp cloth if necessary.

3. Descaling
- Over time, mineral deposits (scale) can build up in your coffee maker, affecting performance. The 'DESCALE' indicator light will illuminate when descaling is recommended.
- To descale, fill the water reservoir with a mixture of white vinegar and water (1:1 ratio) or a descaling solution.
- Place a large mug on the drip tray.
- Run several brew cycles until the reservoir is empty. Discard the brewed solution.
- Rinse the reservoir and fill with fresh water. Run several cycles with fresh water to flush out any remaining descaling solution.
4. Drip Tray Maintenance
- The drip tray is adjustable and removable to accommodate various mug sizes, including travel mugs up to 7.3 inches tall.
- To adjust, simply lift and reposition the drip tray to a higher slot, or remove it entirely for taller mugs.
- Regularly empty and clean the drip tray to prevent spills and maintain hygiene.
