Womier MT75 Wireless Mechanical Gaming Keyboard

1. Introduction

The Womier MT75 is a 75% wireless mechanical gaming keyboard designed for versatility and performance. It features a custom dot-matrix display, multi-mode connectivity (Bluetooth 5.0, 2.4GHz wireless, and USB-C wired), an 8000mAh battery, dynamic RGB backlighting, and programmable software. The keyboard is built with hot-swappable sockets and comes equipped with full POM linear switches, offering a smooth and customizable typing experience. It is compatible with both Windows and Mac systems.

3. Setup

3.1. Connectivity Modes

The Womier MT75 keyboard supports three connection modes: Bluetooth 5.0, 2.4GHz wireless, and USB-C wired. You can connect up to five devices simultaneously.

3.1.1. Bluetooth Pairing

1. Turn the switch on the keyboard to the 'ON' position.
2. Hold down the FN + Q / W / E key combination for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode. The corresponding key's backlight will flash rapidly.
3. On your device (PC, tablet, phone), search for 'MT75-BT1', 'MT75-BT2', or 'MT75-BT3' and connect.
4. Once connected, the backlight will stop flashing.

3.1.2. 2.4GHz Wireless Mode

1. Turn the switch on the keyboard to the 'ON' position.
2. Plug the 2.4GHz dongle into a USB port on your computer.
3. Hold down FN + R for 3 seconds to connect. The 'R' key's backlight will flash rapidly during pairing and stop once connected.

3.1.3. USB-C Wired Mode

1. Connect the provided USB-C cable from the keyboard to your computer.
2. The keyboard will automatically switch to wired mode.

3.2. Battery Information

The keyboard is equipped with an 8000mAh lithium polymer battery, providing extended usage time in wireless modes. The battery status can be checked using the FN + Space key combination.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Dot-matrix Display Customization

The integrated dot-matrix display features 49 RGB lamp beads and offers 6 preset modes. You can adjust the screen image, switch between monochrome and color, and customize images using the keyboard editing software.

• FN + L: Switch display colors.
• FN + K: Switch display effects.

4.2. RGB Backlight Control

The keyboard features 16.8 million colors with a variety of dynamic RGB effects, monochrome, full-color modes, and musical rhythm mode. Lighting brightness and mode can be adjusted using FN key combinations.

4.3. Programmable Software

The Womier MT75 supports programming software (QMK/VIA compatible) to customize key mappings, create macros, and fine-tune settings. This allows users to redefine their keyboard to suit specific needs and preferences.

5. Maintenance

5.1. Switch Replacement (Hot-Swappable)

The Womier MT75 features a hot-swappable PCB, allowing you to easily replace 3-pin or 5-pin mechanical switches without soldering. This enables customization of the acoustic performance and typing feel.

1. Use the provided keycap puller to carefully remove the desired keycap.
2. Use the switch puller to gently grasp the switch and pull it straight up to remove it from the PCB.
3. Align the pins of the new switch with the holes on the PCB. Ensure the pins are straight.
4. Press the new switch firmly into place until it clicks.
5. Replace the keycap.

5.2. Cleaning

To maintain optimal performance and appearance, regularly clean your keyboard. Use a soft brush or compressed air to remove dust and debris from between the keycaps. For stubborn dirt, gently wipe the keycaps and keyboard surface with a damp cloth and mild cleaning solution. Ensure the keyboard is powered off and disconnected before cleaning.

6. Troubleshooting

• Connectivity Issues: If the keyboard fails to connect via Bluetooth or 2.4GHz, ensure it is fully charged and within range. Re-initiate the pairing process as described in Section 3.1.
• Keys Not Responding: Check if the keyboard is properly connected. If using wireless mode, ensure the battery is not depleted. If individual keys are not responding, consider replacing the switch using the hot-swap feature.
• Lighting Malfunctions: Use the FN key combinations (Section 4.2) to cycle through lighting effects and adjust brightness. If issues persist, try resetting the keyboard to factory settings.
• Factory Reset: To restore the keyboard to its factory settings, press and hold FN + Delete for 3 seconds.
