Setup and Installation
Proper installation is crucial for the efficient operation of your portable air conditioner. Follow these steps carefully.
1. Window Kit Installation:
The window kit is designed to fit most standard horizontal and vertical sliding windows.
- Assemble the window slider kit by connecting the two window panels if necessary, adjusting their length to fit your window opening.
- Secure the window exhaust adapter to the opening in the window slider kit.
- Place the assembled window kit into the window opening and close the window securely against it. Use the provided foam seals to minimize air leakage.

Image: This diagram demonstrates how to install the window kit for both horizontal and vertical sliding windows. It shows the exhaust hose extending from the unit to the window kit, ensuring proper ventilation of hot air outside. The image also provides measurements for single, dual-shortest, and dual-longest window panel configurations.
2. Exhaust Hose Connection:
- Attach the hose adapter to one end of the exhaust hose by twisting it clockwise until secure.
- Attach the window exhaust adapter to the other end of the exhaust hose.
- Insert the hose adapter into the exhaust outlet on the back of the air conditioner unit.
- Connect the window exhaust adapter to the opening in the installed window kit. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent air leakage.
3. Drainage Setup:
The unit has two drainage holes (bottom and middle) for flexibility. For dehumidifier mode or continuous drainage, connect the drain hose to the appropriate drainage port.
- For continuous drainage, attach the drain hose to the lower drainage port and direct it to a suitable drain or container.
- For dehumidifier mode, the unit will automatically drain if the hose is connected.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your air conditioner.
1. Cleaning the Air Filter:
The unit is equipped with a washable filter. Clean it every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.
- Turn off and unplug the unit.
- Locate the air filter panel (usually at the back or side of the unit).
- Remove the filter.
- Wash the filter under running water (warm, soapy water if very dirty).
- Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it. Do not expose to direct sunlight.
2. Drainage:
The unit may accumulate water, especially in dehumidifier mode. Ensure proper drainage to prevent overflow.
- Continuous Drainage: For prolonged use, connect the drain hose to the lower drainage port and direct it to a floor drain or large container.
- Manual Drainage: If not using continuous drainage, periodically check the water level. When the internal water tank is full, the unit may stop operating and display an error code. Turn off the unit, place a shallow pan under the drainage port, remove the drain plug, and allow water to drain completely. Reinsert the plug securely.
3. Storage:
When storing the unit for an extended period:
- Unplug the unit and drain all accumulated water.
- Clean the air filter and ensure it is dry.
- Clean the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth.
- Store the unit in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
