3. Product Overview

The SK71 PRO features a robust construction with a CNC aluminum top and bottom case, providing durability and a premium feel. A plastic mid-frame strip is integrated between the aluminum panels. The keyboard has a fixed 8-degree typing angle for ergonomic comfort and long rubber feet on the bottom to prevent sliding during use.

3.1 Magnetic Metal Badge

The keyboard includes a magnetic metal badge located in the upper right corner. This badge serves as a cover for the 2.4GHz wireless dongle storage slot and the power on/off switch. To access, gently press one end of the badge to release it.

4. Setup and Connection

The Womier SK71 PRO supports three connection modes: wired (USB-C), 2.4GHz wireless, and Bluetooth 5.0. It is equipped with an 8000mAh battery for extended wireless use.

4.1 Wired Connection

Connect the provided USB-C cable to the keyboard's USB-C port and the other end to your computer's USB-A port. The keyboard will automatically switch to wired mode. Press Fn + Tab to ensure wired mode is active.

4.2 2.4GHz Wireless Connection

  1. Ensure the keyboard's power switch (located under the magnetic badge) is in the 'ON' position.
  2. Remove the 2.4GHz wireless dongle from its storage slot.
  3. Plug the dongle into an available USB port on your computer.
  4. On the keyboard, press and hold Fn + R for 3 seconds. The backlight will flash, indicating pairing mode.
  5. Once connected, the backlight will stop flashing and remain steady.

4.3 Bluetooth Connection

  1. Ensure the keyboard's power switch (located under the magnetic badge) is in the 'ON' position.
  2. Press and hold Fn + Q, Fn + W, or Fn + E for 3 seconds to enter Bluetooth pairing mode for device 1, 2, or 3 respectively. The backlight will flash.
  3. On your device (computer, tablet, smartphone), search for Bluetooth devices and select 'SK71PRO-BT1', 'SK71PRO-BT2', or 'SK71PRO-BT3' (depending on which Fn key you pressed).
  4. Once connected, the backlight will stop flashing and remain steady.

8. Maintenance

8.1 Cleaning

To clean your keyboard, first disconnect it from your computer. Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe down the keycaps and case. For deeper cleaning, you may remove keycaps using the provided keycap puller and clean underneath with compressed air or a small brush. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

8.2 Switch Replacement

Thanks to the hot-swappable PCB, you can easily replace switches. Use the switch puller tool to carefully remove the desired switch. Align the pins of the new 3-pin or 5-pin mechanical switch with the sockets on the PCB and press firmly until it clicks into place. Ensure the switch is properly seated to avoid bent pins.
