2. Important Safety Instructions

4. Initial Setup

- Clean Water Tank: Wash the detachable water tank and reusable ground coffee basket with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
- Fill Water Tank: Fill the water tank with fresh, clean water up to the MAX line.
- First Clean Cycle: Place a large mug (at least 14oz) on the drip tray. Close the lid without any coffee capsule or ground coffee. Select the 14oz brew size and press the BREW button. Allow the machine to complete a full cycle with only water. Discard the hot water. This primes the machine and cleans any manufacturing residue.
- Repeat the clean cycle 2-3 times for optimal cleanliness.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Brewing with K-Cup Capsules
- Ensure the water tank is filled with fresh water.
- Lift the lid of the brew chamber.
- Insert a K-Cup capsule into the capsule holder. Ensure it is seated correctly.
- Close the lid firmly until it clicks.
- Place your coffee mug on the drip tray.

- Press the BREW button to start brewing. The light will flash during brewing and remain solid when complete.

5.2 Brewing with Ground Coffee
- Ensure the water tank is filled with fresh water.
- Lift the lid of the brew chamber.

- Place the filled reusable basket into the brew chamber.
- Close the lid firmly until it clicks.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Daily Cleaning
- Water Tank: The 40oz water reservoir is detachable and made of food-grade material, making it easy to clean. Remove, wash with warm soapy water, rinse, and dry.

6.2 Descaling (Deep Cleaning)
The descaling white indicator light will flash after approximately 150 cycles to remind you that cleaning is required. Regular descaling helps maintain optimal performance and coffee taste.
- Prepare Solution: Fill the water tank with a mixture of white vinegar and water (e.g., 1:1 ratio) or a commercial descaling solution according to its instructions.
- Start Self-Cleaning: Place a large mug on the drip tray. Press and hold the "BREW" button for 5 seconds to activate the self-cleaning function. The machine will run a cleaning cycle.
- Rinse Cycles: After the descaling cycle, empty the water tank and fill it with fresh, clean water. Run 2-3 full brew cycles with only water to rinse out any remaining descaling solution.
