2. Setup and Initial Operation
2.1. Winding the Watch
Your OLEVS watch is an automatic mechanical timepiece. It is powered by the motion of your wrist. If the watch has stopped or its power reserve is low, it needs to be manually wound.
- Ensure the crown is in position 1 (fully pushed in).
- Rotate the crown clockwise approximately 30-40 times. This will provide sufficient power reserve to start the watch.
- The watch will continue to wind itself through normal daily wear.
Note: If worn daily for 8-10 hours, manual winding may not be necessary.
2.2. Setting the Time
- Pull the crown out to position 3 (farthest out). The second hand will stop.
- Rotate the crown to move the hour and minute hands clockwise until the desired time is set.
- Push the crown back into position 1 to restart the watch.

2.3. Setting the Date and Day
Your watch features a date and day display.
- Pull the crown out to position 2 (middle position).
- Rotate the crown clockwise to adjust the date.
- Rotate the crown counter-clockwise to adjust the day.
- Once the date and day are set, push the crown back into position 1.
Caution: Avoid setting the date or day between 9:00 PM and 3:00 AM, as this can damage the movement. If adjustment is needed during this period, first set the time outside this range, then adjust the date/day, and finally reset the time.
2.4. Adjusting the Bracelet
The stainless steel bracelet can be adjusted for a comfortable fit. This typically involves removing or adding links. It is recommended to have this procedure performed by a professional jeweler to avoid damaging the bracelet or watch.

3. Operating Your Watch
3.1. Automatic Movement
Your OLEVS watch is powered by an automatic mechanical movement. It harnesses the kinetic energy from your arm's motion to wind the mainspring. For optimal performance, wear the watch regularly. If not worn for an extended period, it may stop and require manual winding as described in Section 2.1.
3.2. Water Resistance
This watch is water-resistant up to 30 meters (3 ATM). This means it is suitable for daily use and can withstand splashes, rain, and brief immersion in water.
- Do not operate the crown or pushers while the watch is wet or submerged.
- Not suitable for showering, bathing, swimming, diving, or any water sports.
- Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in to maintain water resistance.
3.3. Luminous Hands
The watch features luminous hands that glow in the dark after exposure to light. This enhances readability in low-light conditions. The intensity and duration of the glow depend on the exposure time and intensity of light.
4. Maintenance and Care
4.1. Cleaning
To maintain the appearance of your watch:
- Wipe the case and bracelet with a soft, dry cloth regularly.
- For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying.
- Avoid using chemical cleaners, solvents, or abrasive materials.
4.2. Storage
When not wearing your watch, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and strong magnetic fields. The original watch box is ideal for storage.
4.3. Water Resistance Longevity
The gaskets that ensure water resistance can degrade over time. It is recommended to have the water resistance checked by a professional watchmaker every 2-3 years, especially if the watch is frequently exposed to water.
5. Troubleshooting
5.1. Watch Not Running
- Cause: Insufficient power reserve.
- Solution: Manually wind the watch by rotating the crown clockwise 30-40 times (see Section 2.1). Wear the watch regularly to keep it wound.
5.2. Time Inaccuracy
- Cause: Low power reserve, exposure to strong magnetic fields, or need for regulation.
- Solution: Ensure the watch is fully wound. Keep the watch away from magnets (e.g., speakers, refrigerators, certain electronic devices). If inaccuracy persists, consult a professional watchmaker for regulation.
5.3. Condensation Under Crystal
- Cause: Water ingress.
- Solution: This indicates a breach in water resistance. Immediately take the watch to a professional watchmaker for inspection and repair to prevent further damage to the movement.
