Setup

Initial Charging

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the internal 5000mAh/18500mWh battery using the AC power cord. Connect the power cord to the device and a standard wall outlet. The charging indicator will illuminate.

Digital Clock Setup

Operating Instructions

Radio Operation

  1. Power On/Off: Rotate the 'Volume' knob clockwise to turn on the radio. Rotate counter-clockwise until it clicks to turn off.
  2. Band Selection: Use the 'BAND' switch to select between AM, FM, SW, or WB (Weather Band).
  3. Tuning: Rotate the 'TUNING' knob to scan for stations. Extend the telescopic antenna for better FM/SW/WB reception. For AM, rotate the unit for optimal signal.
  4. NOAA Weather Alert: When in WB mode, the radio will automatically scan for NOAA weather alerts. An alert tone will sound if a severe weather alert is broadcast in your area.
  5. Headphone Use: Plug 3.5mm headphones into the headphone jack for private listening.

Charging Functions (for the internal battery)

  • AC Charging: Connect the provided power cord to the unit and a wall outlet.
  • Solar Charging: Place the solar panel in direct sunlight. This method is primarily for maintaining charge or slow charging.
  • Hand Crank Charging: Rotate the hand crank clockwise or counter-clockwise at a steady pace (approx. 120-150 RPM) for 3-5 minutes to generate power for short-term use or to initiate charging.
