Setup
Initial Charging
Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the internal 5000mAh/18500mWh battery using the AC power cord. Connect the power cord to the device and a standard wall outlet. The charging indicator will illuminate.

For an additional power backup, you can insert AAA batteries into the designated compartment. Locate the battery compartment cover, open it, and insert the batteries according to the polarity markings (+/-). Close the cover securely.
Digital Clock Setup
Upon powering on the digital clock for the first time, you may need to set the current time, date, and preferred language. Refer to the 'Operating Instructions - Digital Clock' section for detailed steps on navigation and settings.
Operating Instructions
Radio Operation
- Power On/Off: Rotate the 'Volume' knob clockwise to turn on the radio. Rotate counter-clockwise until it clicks to turn off.
- Band Selection: Use the 'BAND' switch to select between AM, FM, SW, or WB (Weather Band).
- Tuning: Rotate the 'TUNING' knob to scan for stations. Extend the telescopic antenna for better FM/SW/WB reception. For AM, rotate the unit for optimal signal.
- NOAA Weather Alert: When in WB mode, the radio will automatically scan for NOAA weather alerts. An alert tone will sound if a severe weather alert is broadcast in your area.
- Headphone Use: Plug 3.5mm headphones into the headphone jack for private listening.
Charging Functions (for the internal battery)
- AC Charging: Connect the provided power cord to the unit and a wall outlet.
- Solar Charging: Place the solar panel in direct sunlight. This method is primarily for maintaining charge or slow charging.
- Hand Crank Charging: Rotate the hand crank clockwise or counter-clockwise at a steady pace (approx. 120-150 RPM) for 3-5 minutes to generate power for short-term use or to initiate charging.
