3. Setup Instructions
- Assemble the Tripod: Extend the aluminum tripod legs to a stable position. Adjust the height as needed (from 25.2" to 42.1"). Secure the accessory tray to the center brace of the tripod.
- Attach the Telescope Tube: Mount the telescope tube onto the tripod's altazimuth mount. Ensure it is securely fastened using the provided screws or clamps.
- Install the Finderscope: Attach the 5x24 finderscope to its designated bracket on the main telescope tube. Align the finderscope with the main telescope by pointing the main telescope at a distant, stationary object during daylight hours. Look through the finderscope and adjust its alignment screws until the object is centered in both the finderscope and the main telescope's eyepiece.
- Insert the Zenith Mirror (Diagonal): Insert the zenith mirror into the focuser tube. This component provides a more comfortable viewing angle and corrects the image orientation for terrestrial viewing.
- Insert an Eyepiece: Choose an eyepiece (e.g., 25mm for lower magnification and wider field of view) and insert it into the zenith mirror. Secure it with the small thumbscrew.
- Install the Phone Adapter:

- Place your smartphone into the phone adapter clamp.
- Adjust the clamp to securely hold your phone.
- Attach the phone adapter to the telescope eyepiece.
- Ensure the phone camera lens is centered over the eyepiece.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Basic Observation Steps
- Step 1: Locate Your Target with the Finderscope.Use the finderscope to initially locate the object you wish to observe. The finderscope provides a wider field of view, making it easier to center objects before switching to the main telescope's higher magnification.

- Step 2: Start with a Low Power Eyepiece. For your first observation, especially during the day, it is recommended to use the 25mm eyepiece. This provides the lowest magnification and widest field of view, making it easier to find and track objects.

- Step 3: Focus the Image.Look through the eyepiece and slowly turn the focusing knob until the image appears sharp and clear.

- Step 4: Increase Magnification (Optional).Once the object is clearly focused with the 25mm eyepiece, you can switch to the 10mm eyepiece for higher magnification. Refocus as needed.

- Step 5: Use the Barlow Lens for Maximum Magnification (Optional). For even greater magnification, insert the 3x Barlow lens into the zenith mirror first, then insert your chosen eyepiece into the Barlow lens. This will triple the magnification of the eyepiece.

4.2. Magnification Options
Your telescope comes with two eyepieces and a 3x Barlow lens, offering various magnification levels:
- 25mm Eyepiece: Provides 28x magnification. Ideal for wide-field views of star clusters, nebulae, and terrestrial landscapes.
- 10mm Eyepiece: Provides 70x magnification. Suitable for detailed views of the Moon, planets, and brighter deep-sky objects.
- 25mm Eyepiece + 3x Barlow Lens: Provides 84x magnification.
- 10mm Eyepiece + 3x Barlow Lens: Provides 210x magnification. Use this for maximum detail on planets and the Moon when atmospheric conditions are stable.

4.3. Stargazing App Integration
The telescope includes an adjustable smartphone mount and is compatible with the "Sky Tonight" stargazing application for automatic celestial tracking and identification.
- Install the "Sky Tonight" application on your smartphone.
- Attach your smartphone to the stargazing phone mount on the telescope.
- Open the app and input your desired celestial target.
- Follow the app's directional guidance to align your telescope by setting your current latitude and longitude.
- The app will assist in identifying and tracking celestial bodies, providing detailed astronomical information.

4.4. Wireless Remote and Phone Adapter
Utilize the included wireless remote and phone adapter to capture images and videos through the telescope.
- Mount your smartphone onto the phone adapter and attach it to the telescope eyepiece as described in the setup section.
- Connect the wireless remote to your smartphone via Bluetooth (refer to the remote's specific instructions for pairing).
- Use the remote to trigger your phone's camera shutter, allowing for stable image and video capture without disturbing the telescope.

4.5. Tripod Adjustment
The adjustable aluminum tripod provides stability and allows for comfortable viewing angles. The tripod can be adjusted from a height of 25.2 inches to 42.1 inches. The telescope mount allows for 180-degree vertical and 360-degree horizontal rotation.

5. Maintenance
- Cleaning Lenses: Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical lenses. Gently wipe the lens surfaces. For stubborn smudges, use a specialized optical cleaning solution sparingly. Avoid touching the lens surfaces with bare hands.
- Storage: Store the telescope in a dry, dust-free environment. Use the lens caps to protect the objective lens and eyepiece from dust and scratches when not in use.
- Handling: Always handle the telescope and its components with care to prevent damage. Avoid sudden impacts or dropping the instrument.
6. Troubleshooting
- Blurry Images:
- Ensure the focusing knob is properly adjusted.
- Check if the eyepiece is fully inserted and secured.
- Atmospheric conditions (e.g., heat haze, turbulence) can affect image clarity, especially at high magnifications.
- Difficulty Locating Objects:
- Verify that the finderscope is correctly aligned with the main telescope.
- Start with the lowest magnification eyepiece (25mm) for a wider field of view.
- Unstable View / Vibrations:
- Ensure the tripod legs are fully extended and locked, and the accessory tray is securely attached.
- Place the tripod on a firm, level surface.
- Avoid touching the telescope during observation; use the slow-motion controls if available.
- Phone Adapter Issues:
- Ensure your phone is securely clamped and its camera lens is centered over the eyepiece.
- Some phone cases may interfere with proper seating; try removing the case.
