1. Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps carefully to assemble your ANCHEER electric bike. For a visual guide, please refer to the assembly video below.
Video: ANCHEER E-Bike Unboxing and Assembly Guide. This video demonstrates the step-by-step process of unpacking and assembling the electric bike, including handlebar, seat, wheels, and other components.
- Unpacking: Carefully unpack the electric bike and all components from the box. Ensure all parts are present before proceeding with assembly.
- Handlebar Installation: Orient the stem towards the front of the bike. Loosen the four screws on the handlebar mount using the provided wrench. Position the handlebar in the mount, ensuring it is centered and at a comfortable angle. Tighten the four screws securely.
- Seat and Reflector Assembly: Attach the reflector to the seat post by loosening and then tightening the screws. Insert the seat post into the frame's seat tube. Adjust the seat height to a comfortable riding position and secure it with the quick-release clamp. Ensure the seat angle is also comfortable.
- Front Disc Brake Installation: Loosen the two screws on the front fork. Install the disc brake caliper onto the fork, ensuring proper alignment with the disc rotor. Tighten the screws securely.
- Front Wheel Installation: Invert the bike and support it securely. Remove any protective pads from the front fork. Carefully insert the front wheel into the fork dropouts, ensuring the disc rotor is correctly seated within the brake caliper. Insert the quick-release skewer through the wheel axle, screw on the end nut, and close the quick-release lever firmly. Rotate the wheel to confirm smooth rotation without brake rub; adjust if necessary.
- Kickstand Installation: Unscrew the bolt on the kickstand. Attach the kickstand to the designated mounting points on the bike frame near the rear wheel. Securely tighten the bolt using the appropriate tool.
- Headlight Installation: Mount the headlight to the front fork using the provided screw. Connect the headlight cable to the corresponding connector on the bike's wiring harness. Ensure the connection is secure.
- Meter (Display) and Bell Installation: Unscrew the meter mount and attach the meter to the handlebar. Tighten the screws to secure it. Install the bell next to the meter on the handlebar, tightening its screw.
- Pedal Installation: Identify the 'L' (left) and 'R' (right) markings on the pedals. Counter-clockwise screw the left pedal ('L') into the left crank arm. Clockwise screw the right pedal ('R') into the right crank arm. Ensure both pedals are fully threaded and securely tightened with a wrench.
- Battery Installation: Gently slide the battery into its holder on the bike frame. Press down firmly until it clicks into place. Use the key to lock the battery securely, ensuring it is not loose.

2. Operating Instructions
Familiarize yourself with the various operating modes and controls of your ANCHEER electric bike.
- Power On/Off: To power on the bike, press and hold the power button on the LCD display. To power off, press and hold the power button again.
- Pedal Assist System (PAS) Modes: The bike features 5 adjustable levels of pedal assist. Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the display to select your desired assist level. The motor provides assistance as you pedal, making riding easier.
- Throttle Mode: For throttle-only operation, set the LCD display to assist level 0. Twist the throttle grip to engage the motor and accelerate without pedaling. Maximum speed in throttle mode is 20 mph.
- Cruise Control: To activate cruise control, hold the throttle steady for 6-8 seconds until the gear signal flashes on the display. This maintains a constant speed without continuous throttle input. To deactivate, simply apply the brakes or twist the throttle.
- Pure Pedal Mode: Ride the bike like a traditional bicycle with no motor assistance. This mode is active when the power is off or pedal assist is set to level 0 and the throttle is not engaged.
- Gear Shifting: The bike is equipped with a 21-speed gear system. Use the twist grip shifters on the handlebar to change gears, adapting to different terrains and riding conditions.
- LCD Digital Display: The LCD display provides real-time information including current speed, mileage, battery level, and selected PAS level. Familiarize yourself with the display functions for optimal riding.

3. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your electric bike.
- Battery Care: Charge the 48V 10.4Ah (499Wh) battery fully after each ride. Avoid completely draining the battery. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when not in use. The removable design allows for convenient on/off-bike charging.
- Tire Pressure: Regularly check and maintain the tire pressure of your 27.5-inch tires to the recommended PSI for optimal performance and safety.
- Brake Inspection: Periodically inspect the disc brakes for wear and proper function. Ensure the brake pads are not excessively worn and the calipers are aligned. Adjust as needed.
- Chain Lubrication: Keep the chain clean and lubricated to ensure smooth gear changes and prolong its lifespan.
- General Cleaning: Clean your e-bike regularly with a damp cloth. Avoid using high-pressure water jets directly on electrical components. The PX54 waterproof connectors offer durability against dust and splashes.
