4. Setup
The Midea MDF24JG fan is designed for immediate use right out of the box. No assembly is required.
- Unpack: Carefully remove the fan and all packaging materials from the box.
- Placement: Place the fan on a firm, level surface in the desired location. Ensure there is adequate space around the fan for optimal airflow and oscillation.
- Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet (230V).
5. Operating Instructions
The fan is controlled via a single rotary knob located on the base.
- Power On/Off: Turn the control knob clockwise from the '0' (Off) position to select a speed setting. To turn off the fan, rotate the knob counter-clockwise back to '0'.
- Adjusting Fan Speed: The fan offers 3 speed settings:
- Setting 1: Low speed for gentle airflow.
- Setting 2: Medium speed for stable and comfortable airflow.
- Setting 3: High speed for powerful and refreshing airflow.
- Activating Oscillation: The fan features multidirectional oscillation. The control knob allows you to select oscillation modes:
- Horizontal Oscillation: The fan head automatically sweeps from side to side (up to 90°). This is typically activated by turning the knob to a setting that includes oscillation (e.g., '1' with oscillation symbol).
- Vertical Tilt Adjustment: The fan head can be manually tilted vertically (up to 90°) to direct airflow precisely where needed. Adjust the fan head by hand to the desired angle.
