1. Introduction

This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the installation, programming, and operation of your Avisontek GK-BX wireless garage door opener keypad and G3T-BX remote controls. These devices are designed to provide convenient and secure access to your garage.

Compatibility: Compatible with all Genie and Overhead Door garage door openers manufactured since 1995 that utilize Intellicode technology. This system is a replacement for GK-R, GK-BX, GWKPD-BL, OKP-BX, GWK-IC, GWKP, ACSDA1, ACSDG, ACSD1G, B8QACSDA1, and B8QACSDA models. Note: Not compatible with Dip Switch openers.

4. Setup & Installation

4.1 Keypad Battery Installation

4.3 Keypad Mounting

The GK-BX keypad is designed for wireless installation. Choose a convenient location outside your garage door, at least 5 feet above the ground, and away from moving parts of the door.

  2. Mark the desired mounting holes using the keypad's backplate as a template.

5. Programming Instructions

5.1 Setting a Personal Identification Number (PIN) on the Keypad

  1. Ensure the keypad backlight is off (do not press any buttons).
  2. Press the 3, 5, 7 keys on the keypad, then press the PROGRAM button.
  3. The LED will blink. Now, enter a unique 3-8 digit PIN number.
  4. Press the PROGRAM button again.
  5. The keypad will blink twice and shut off, confirming successful PIN programming.

6. Operation

6.1 Using the Keypad

To operate your garage door using the GK-BX keypad:

  1. Enter your 3-8 digit PIN.
  2. Press the UP/DOWN arrow key. The garage door will open or close.
