1. Setup
1.1 Unpacking and Initial Placement
Upon receiving your KNKA D032 Dehumidifier, carefully remove it from its packaging. Important: Before first use, allow the dehumidifier to stand upright for 24 hours. This ensures the internal components, particularly the refrigerant, settle correctly for optimal performance and reliability.

1.2 Power Connection
Connect the power cord to a suitable electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the appliance's requirements.
1.3 Water Tank and Continuous Drainage Setup
The dehumidifier offers two drainage methods: using the removable water tank or continuous drainage via a hose.
- Water Tank Drainage: The unit features a visible 1.7-liter water tank. When the tank is full, the dehumidifier will automatically shut off and an indicator light will illuminate. Remove the tank, empty the water, and reinsert it securely.
- Continuous Drainage: For long-term operation without manual emptying, attach the included 65 cm drainage hose to the continuous drainage port at the back of the unit. Ensure the hose is positioned to drain water into a suitable receptacle or floor drain.

5. Troubleshooting
- Appliance Not Functioning:
- Check if the child lock is activated. Press and hold the 'Lock' button for 5 seconds to deactivate.
- Ensure the water tank is correctly installed and not full. Empty and re-install if necessary.
- If the target humidity is lower than the ambient humidity, the unit may temporarily stop.
- In Smart Mode, only fixed settings are possible. For adjustable humidity and fan speed, use Normal Mode.
- Liquid or Oil Odor in Packaging: If the appliance was laid flat during prolonged transport, condensation may have leaked. Allow the unit to stand upright for 24 hours before first use. If the issue persists, contact customer service with a short video and photos.
- Ineffective Dehumidification: Ensure all doors and windows in the room are closed during operation.
- Red Indicator Light On: This indicates one of three conditions:
- Water tank is full.
- Water tank is incorrectly installed.
- Humidity is above 65% RH.
- Missing Casters and Anti-slip Mat: These accessories are located inside the water tank. Remove them before using the tank.
