Setup
1. Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the device using the provided USB-C charging cable. Connect the cable to the charging port on the bottom of the detector and plug the other end into a standard USB power adapter (not included). The device's indicator light will show charging status and turn off when fully charged.

2. Attaching the Lanyard (Optional)
For easier handling and to prevent misplacement, attach the included lanyard to the designated loop on the device. This is particularly useful given the detector's compact size.
Operating Instructions
The kacylzom Hidden Camera Detector features two main buttons: an upper button (four-petal icon) and a lower button (circle icon). These control the various functions and detection modes.
1. Flashlight Mode
To activate the built-in LED flashlight, short press the upper button (four-petal icon). This can be used to illuminate dark areas for easier inspection.

2. Vibration Alert Mode (Anti-Intrusion Alarm)
This mode provides an instant vibration alert if the device detects movement, making it ideal for securing doors, windows, or luggage.
- To activate: Long press the upper button. The device will emit 1-second interval beeps for 10 seconds, then switch to full vibration alert mode.
- In vibration mode: The device will trigger a continuous alarm sound when motion is detected.
- To exit: Press any button once while the alarm is active or during standby.

3. Hidden Camera Detection Mode
This mode utilizes lens reflection detection and infrared spectrum scanning to locate hidden cameras. There are three sub-modes:
- Steady Mode: Long press the lower button (circle icon) to enter this mode. The red lights will remain steadily on. This is for continuous scanning for subtle reflections.
- Flash Mode: Short press the lower button again to switch to this mode. The red lights will flash at a high frequency, designed to catch flickering lenses.
- Hybrid Mode (Fast Flash): Short press the lower button one more time to activate this mode. The red lights will flash rapidly, combining both steady and flash characteristics for maximum coverage.
To exit the detection mode, short press the lower button until the red lights turn off.

Scanning Method:
While in any of the hidden camera detection modes, peer through the optical filter lens with one eye. Slowly scan the area you wish to inspect. A persistent bright reflection point indicates the presence of a hidden camera lens. For best results, close curtains, dim indoor lights, and ensure a dark environment to make reflections more visible.
Maintenance
- Keep the device clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth.
- Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or moisture.
- Store the device in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- Regularly charge the device to maintain battery health, especially if stored for long periods. The battery lasts up to 720 hours on standby.
