8. Troubleshooting

  • No Sound:
    • Ensure the Q6 is powered on and the correct input source is selected.
    • Verify all audio cables (input, output) and the power cable are securely connected.
    • Check the volume level on your connected amplifier, powered speakers, or source device.
    • If using USB with a computer (especially Windows), ensure the correct audio output device ("Fosi Audio Q6" or similar) is selected in your sound settings. Also, check the sample rate settings in your computer's audio properties; setting it to a compatible rate (e.g., 32-bit, 384000Hz) can resolve issues.
    • If using USB-C with a smartphone and experiencing intermittent sound, try a different USB-C cable or ensure your phone supports audio output over USB-C.
  • Distorted Sound:
    • Check all cable connections for any loose contacts.
    • Ensure the sample rate settings on your source device are compatible with the Q6.
    • Test with a different audio source or cable to isolate the problem.
  • No Power:
    • Verify the USB power cable is connected correctly and the power source is active.
    • Try a different USB power adapter or USB port.

9. Maintenance

  • Keep the device clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Avoid exposing the unit to excessive moisture, heat, or direct sunlight.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble the unit, as this will void the warranty and may cause damage.
  • Ensure proper ventilation around the device to prevent overheating.
