Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble and set up your Veken Cat Water Fountain:

1. Clean Components: Before first use, thoroughly rinse all parts of the fountain (tank, lid, tray, spout) with water. Do not use soap or harsh detergents.
2. Prepare Filter: Rinse the new filter and pre-filter sponge under running water for a few minutes to remove any loose carbon dust.
3. Assemble Base and Tank: Place the fountain base on a stable surface. Position the transparent water tank onto the base, ensuring it is seated correctly.
4. Install Filter and Lid: Insert the pre-filter sponge into its designated slot on the underside of the lid. Place the filter into the filter tray on top of the lid. Then, place the lid assembly onto the water tank.
5. Add Water: Fill the water tank with fresh water up to the 'MAX' line. Ensure the water level is above the 'MIN' line for optimal operation.
6. Attach Spout (Optional): If you prefer the spout flow mode, attach the spout to the designated opening on the lid. For spring flow, do not attach the spout.
7. Connect Power: Connect the power adapter to the fountain's base and then plug it into a standard electrical outlet. The fountain will begin operating.

Operating Instructions

Water Flow Modes

The Veken Cat Water Fountain offers two distinct water flow modes:

• Spout Flow: Provides a stream of water from the spout, mimicking a faucet. This mode is achieved by attaching the included spout.
• Spring Flow: Water bubbles up gently from the center, creating a calm, bubbling surface. This mode is achieved by not attaching the spout.

LED Light Control

The integrated LED light can be controlled using the button located on the power cord. Press the button to turn the light on or off according to your preference.

Quiet Operation

The fountain is designed for quiet operation (25-30dB). If you notice increased noise, check the water level. Noise may occur if the water level is near or below the 'MIN' line. Refill the tank to restore quiet operation.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance are crucial for the longevity of your fountain and the health of your pet. The Veken Cat Water Fountain features a detachable tank and pump-free design for easy cleaning.

Daily Maintenance

• Check the water level and refill as needed. Always ensure the water level is above the 'MIN' line.
• Wipe down any visible debris or pet hair from the surface of the water and the fountain.

Bi-Weekly Cleaning (Every 2 Weeks)

It is recommended to clean the fountain thoroughly every two weeks to prevent debris buildup and maintain water quality.

1. Unplug: Disconnect the power adapter from the wall outlet and the fountain.
2. Disassemble: Remove the spout (if attached), lid, filter, and pre-filter sponge. Carefully lift the water tank from the base.
3. Clean Components: Rinse all parts (tank, lid, tray, spout) under running water. Use the included cleaning brush to scrub away any residue, especially in crevices and around the impeller area. A soft sponge can be used for the tank.
4. Clean Base: Wipe the base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base in water as it contains electrical components.
5. Rinse Filter: Rinse the filter and pre-filter sponge under running water. If the filter is heavily soiled or has been in use for 3 weeks, replace it.
6. Reassemble: Reassemble the fountain by following the setup instructions in reverse.

Filter Replacement

The advanced 5-stage filtration system ensures fresh and pure water for up to 3 weeks. For optimal performance and water quality, replace the filter and pre-filter sponge every 2-3 weeks, or more frequently if you have multiple pets or notice significant debris.
