2. Assembly Instructions

Assembly of your ALFORDSON Eden Swivel Bar Stools is required. Please follow these steps carefully. It is recommended to have a second person assist during assembly to ensure stability and ease of construction.

2.1. Unpacking and Component Check

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches. Verify that all parts listed in the included hardware pack are present. If any parts are missing or damaged, please contact customer support.

2.2. Assembly Steps

  1. Attach the Swivel Mechanism: Secure the metal swivel mechanism to the underside of the seat cushion using the provided screws. Ensure it is centered and tightened firmly.
  2. Assemble the Base: Connect the wooden legs to the circular footrest using the designated bolts. Do not fully tighten the bolts at this stage.
  3. Attach Seat to Base: Carefully align the assembled seat (with swivel mechanism) onto the assembled leg base. Secure it with the remaining screws.
  4. Final Tightening: Once all components are loosely assembled, place the stool upright on a level surface. Apply gentle pressure to the seat to ensure all parts are properly aligned, then fully tighten all screws and bolts.
  5. Attach Leveling Pads: Screw the leveling adjustment pads into the bottom of each leg. Adjust them as needed to ensure the stool is stable and does not wobble.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1. Swivel Function

The ALFORDSON Eden Bar Stools feature a smooth 360-degree swivel function, facilitated by industrial-grade ball bearings. To use, simply rotate the seat in any direction. This allows for easy movement and interaction in various settings without needing to reposition the entire stool.

3.2. Stability and Leveling

The stools are equipped with anti-slip rubber pads and leveling adjustment pads on the base. If the stool feels unstable or wobbles, gently turn the leveling pads at the bottom of each leg until the stool is firm and level on your floor surface. This also helps protect your floors from scratches and reduces noise when moving the stools.

4. Maintenance and Care

4.1. Cleaning the PU Leather Upholstery

The breathable faux leather upholstery is designed for easy cleaning. For general cleaning, wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth. For spills, immediately blot the area with a clean, dry cloth. For stubborn stains, use a mild soap solution and a soft cloth, then wipe dry. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or excessive moisture, as these can damage the material.

4.2. Wood Frame Care

The bentwood frame has a walnut finish. To maintain its appearance, wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid direct sunlight and extreme temperature changes, which can cause the wood to fade or crack. Do not use silicone-based polishes or cleaners, as they can build up over time.

4.3. General Maintenance

  • Regularly check and tighten all screws and bolts to ensure the stool remains stable.
  • Avoid dragging the stools across the floor; lift them when moving to prevent damage to the legs and floor.
  • Do not expose the stools to excessive moisture or humidity.

5. Safety Information

WARNING: Failure to follow these safety guidelines may result in injury or damage to the product.
