- Connect the monitor to the included car charger (cigarette lighter adapter).
- Connect the camera to the monitor using the provided video cable.
- Plug the car charger into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket.
- Method 2: Reverse Light Power
This method powers the system only when the vehicle is in reverse, automatically displaying the image on the monitor.
- Connect the monitor to its power cable.
- Connect the camera's power cable to the positive (+) wire of your vehicle's reverse lights. Connect the camera's ground (-) wire to a suitable chassis ground point.
- Connect the camera to the monitor using the provided video cable.

4.2 Camera Placement
The backup camera is designed to be mounted near the license plate. It can be installed for rear view or front view applications.

4.3 Monitor Placement
The monitor can be fixed to the center console (dashboard) or the windshield using the provided mount.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Basic Operation
- Power On/Off: If powered by the cigarette lighter, press the red button on the adapter to turn the system on or off. If powered by reverse lights, the system will activate automatically when reverse gear is engaged.
- Display: The 5-inch HD 2K monitor provides clear, real-time images.

5.2 Night Vision
The upgraded reversing camera features a built-in anti-halo chip and filter chip, which automatically switch to night vision mode based on light intensity. This provides high-definition color images in low-light conditions, ensuring safer driving at night.

5.3 Wide Angle View and Guide Lines
The 150-degree wide-angle lens provides an expansive view, helping to spot pedestrians, cyclists, and obstacles. The system supports adjustable reverse guide lines to assist with parking and reversing.
- Adjusting Guide Lines: The guide lines can be adjusted for left/right position, width, and vertical placement to suit your vehicle and preference.

5.4 Image Flip Function
The monitor supports switching between mirror and normal image views, allowing for flexible use as a rear view or front view camera.

5.5 Display Settings
You can adjust various display parameters on the monitor for optimal viewing:
- Lightness
- Contrast
- Saturation
- Hue
- Display Aspect Ratio (16:9 or 4:3)

6. Maintenance
The Jansite backup camera is designed for durability and performance in various conditions.
- Waterproof Design: The camera housing is IP69K rated, providing efficient dustproof, shockproof, and waterproof performance. This ensures the camera functions reliably in rain, snow, or other extreme weather conditions.
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the camera lens and monitor screen with a soft, damp cloth to ensure clear visibility. Avoid using harsh chemicals that may damage the surfaces.
- Cable Inspection: Periodically check all cable connections for any signs of wear or damage. Ensure connections remain secure.

7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Jansite backup camera system, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- No Image on Monitor:
- Ensure all power connections are secure and the system is receiving power.
