2. Safety Instructions
Read all safety instructions carefully before installation, operation, or maintenance. Failure to follow these instructions may result in property damage, injury, or death.
- Electrical Safety: Ensure the appliance is connected to a properly grounded 220-240 Volt / 50 Hz power supply. Do not use extension cords or adapters. Disconnect power before any cleaning or maintenance.
- Refrigerant: This unit uses R290 refrigerant. Servicing should only be performed by qualified personnel. Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
- Placement: Install the unit on a stable, level surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the appliance to prevent overheating. Maintain a minimum clearance of 10 cm from walls.
- Handling: The unit is heavy (238 kg). Use appropriate lifting equipment and personnel during transport and installation.
- Cleaning: Always disconnect the power supply before cleaning. Use non-abrasive cleaners. Do not spray water directly onto electrical components.
- Authorized Use: This appliance is designed for professional use in commercial kitchens for food storage. Do not use it for purposes other than its intended use.
3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove all packaging materials. Inspect the unit for any damage incurred during transit. Report any damage to the carrier and supplier immediately.
3.2 Placement and Leveling
Position the freezer cabinet in its intended location, ensuring sufficient space for air circulation around the condenser unit at the top. The external dimensions are 1372 mm (width) x 830 mm (depth) x 2050 mm (height). Use the adjustable stainless steel feet to level the unit. Proper leveling is crucial for efficient operation and door sealing.
3.3 Initial Cleaning
Before first use, clean the interior and exterior surfaces with a mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
3.4 Power Connection
Connect the appliance to a dedicated 220-240 Volt / 50 Hz electrical outlet. Allow the unit to stand for at least 2 hours after moving before plugging it in to allow refrigerants to settle.
3.5 Shelf Installation
The cabinet is equipped with 8 adjustable GN 2/1 compatible shelves. Install them at desired heights. Each shelf can support a maximum load of 35 kg.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Initial Startup
After connecting to power, the digital thermostat (EVCO) will display the current internal temperature. Allow the unit to run empty for several hours (e.g., 4-6 hours) to reach the desired operating temperature before loading with food products.
4.2 Temperature Control
The temperature is controlled by a digital EVCO thermostat located on the front panel. The factory-set temperature range is -22 °C to -18 °C. Refer to the thermostat's specific user guide for detailed instructions on adjusting settings. Generally, the 'SET' button allows you to view and modify the set temperature.

4.3 Loading the Cabinet
Load food products evenly on the shelves, ensuring not to exceed the maximum load capacity of 35 kg per shelf. Do not block the internal air circulation vents, as this can impair cooling efficiency. The gross volume is 1200 L, with a usable volume of 1017 L.
4.4 Door Operation
The two full doors are reversible and equipped with a heated frame to prevent condensation buildup. Each door has a locking mechanism, and keys are provided. Ensure doors are closed securely after each use to maintain internal temperature.
4.5 Automatic Defrost
The unit features an automatic defrost system with a forced-air refrigeration system. This system periodically melts accumulated ice, which then evaporates. No manual defrosting is typically required under normal operating conditions.
4.6 Interior LED Lighting
The interior is equipped with LED lighting for improved visibility of contents. This lighting can typically be controlled via a switch on the control panel or automatically with door opening.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your freezer cabinet. Always disconnect the power supply before performing any maintenance.
- Interior Cleaning: Clean the interior regularly with a mild, food-safe detergent and warm water. The smooth surfaces and pressed inserts facilitate easy cleaning. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe down the stainless steel exterior with a damp cloth and a suitable stainless steel cleaner. Avoid abrasive materials.
- Condenser Cleaning: Periodically clean the condenser coils (located at the top of the unit) to remove dust and debris. A clogged condenser reduces efficiency and can lead to compressor failure. Use a brush or vacuum cleaner.
- Door Gasket Inspection: Regularly check the door gaskets for cracks, tears, or signs of wear. Damaged gaskets compromise sealing and lead to energy loss. Replace if necessary.
- Professional Servicing: It is recommended to have the unit inspected by a qualified refrigeration technician at least once a year for comprehensive checks and preventative maintenance.
6. Troubleshooting
Before contacting service, review the following common issues and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit does not power on | No power supply; tripped circuit breaker; faulty power cord. | Check power connection and circuit breaker. Ensure outlet is functional. |
| Temperature is too high | Door not closed properly; excessive door openings; condenser coils dirty; unit overloaded; poor ventilation. | Ensure doors are sealed. Reduce door openings. Clean condenser coils. Do not overload. Ensure proper ventilation. |
| Excessive noise | Unit not level; loose components; fan obstruction. | Level the unit. Check for loose parts. Ensure fan is clear of obstructions. |
| Water on floor/inside | Blocked drain line; damaged door gasket. | Clear drain line. Inspect and replace door gasket if damaged. |
If the problem persists after attempting these solutions, contact a qualified service technician.
