3. Setup

3.1. Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the device.
2. Slide the cover off.
3. Insert two AAA batteries (not included) according to the polarity markings inside the compartment.
4. Replace the battery compartment cover.

3.2. Power On/Off

Slide the ON/OFF switch located on the back of the device to the 'ON' position to power on the keypad. Slide to 'OFF' to power off.

3.3. 2.4G Wireless Connection

1. Ensure the keypad is powered on.
2. Remove the USB 2.4GHz receiver from its storage slot in the battery compartment.
3. Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
4. Press the 2.4G button on the keypad. The blue indicator light will turn on.
5. Press and hold the 2.4G button for 3 seconds until the 2.4G logo on the display flashes.
6. The device will automatically connect. Once connected, the 2.4G logo will stop flashing and remain solid.

3.4. Bluetooth Connection

1. Ensure the keypad is powered on.
2. Press the BT button on the keypad. The red indicator light will turn on.
3. Press and hold the BT button for 3 seconds until the Bluetooth logo on the display flashes.
4. On your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
5. Select "Bluetooth Keyboard" from the list to connect.
6. Once connected, the Bluetooth logo will stop flashing and remain solid.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Switching Between Keypad and Calculator Modes

The Rytaki Pro BK-34 features a dedicated button to switch between numeric keypad mode and calculator mode.

• Press the keypad/calculator button (located on the top left) to toggle between the two modes.
• In keypad mode, the LCD screen displays 'K'.
• In calculator mode, the LCD screen displays 'F 0 2 3'.

4.2. Calculator Mode Functions

When in calculator mode, the device functions as a standard calculator with an LCD display. The display shows calculation results and status indicators.

• Display Indicators: The LCD shows 'F 0 2 3' for full precision, 'E' for error, 'M' for active memory, and 'GT' for Grand Total.
• Memory Functions: Use MC (Memory Clear), MR (Memory Recall), M+ (Memory Add), and M- (Memory Subtract) buttons for complex calculations.
• Send Function: Press the send key to transmit the calculator result to your connected device.

In keypad mode, the device acts as a numeric keypad for data entry on your connected computer or device.

• Device not connecting: Ensure batteries are installed correctly and charged. Verify the device is powered on. For 2.4G, ensure the USB receiver is properly inserted. For Bluetooth, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your host device and the keypad is in pairing mode.
• Keys not responding: Check battery level. Ensure the device is connected. If in calculator mode, ensure it's not in an error state ('E' on display).
