1. Product Overview

The UGREEN FineTrack S is a smart object locator designed to help you keep track of your valuables. Certified for Samsung Galaxy SmartThings, it connects directly to the SmartThings application, offering secure and private tracking. This device features a replaceable battery with up to 18 months of life, an 80dB alert sound, and reverse phone finding capabilities. It also provides a 7-day location history and global tracking through the SmartThings network.

3. Setup and Pairing

The UGREEN FineTrack S is designed for easy pairing with your Samsung Galaxy device via the SmartThings application.

Method 1: Automatic Pairing

1. Briefly press the power button or remove the insulating film to activate the product.
2. Open the Samsung SmartThings application on your Galaxy phone or tablet.
3. A pop-up window will appear on your phone. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the pairing process.

Method 2: Manual Pairing

1. Open the Samsung SmartThings application.
2. Tap the "+" sign in the upper right corner to add a device.
3. Select "Scan nearby" and choose the UGREEN FineTrack S from the list.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the pairing process.

Method 3: QR Code Pairing

1. Open the Samsung SmartThings application.
2. Tap the "+" sign in the upper right corner to add a device.
3. Select "Scan QR code".
4. Scan the QR code found on the product packaging.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the pairing process.

4. Operating the FineTrack S

Sharing Item Location

You can share the location of your UGREEN FineTrack S with friends or family members.

1. Access the product details page in the SmartThings app.
2. Click on "Share location with members" or "Share location by link".
3. Choose to share via QR code, phone number, or email.
4. The recipient will receive an invitation to view the item's location.

Tracking Item Movement

The SmartThings app allows you to view the location history of your FineTrack S for up to 7 days.

1. Open the SmartThings app and navigate to the FineTrack S details page.
2. Click on "View map" to see the current location.
3. Click on "Location history" to review the past 7 days of movement.

Finding Your Phone or Tablet

If you misplace your Samsung phone or tablet, you can use the FineTrack S to locate it.

1. Ensure the "Find phone or tablet" function is enabled in the FineTrack S details page within the SmartThings app.
2. Double-click the button on your FineTrack S.
3. Your paired phone or tablet will ring, helping you locate it.

Finding Your FineTrack S

If you misplace the FineTrack S itself, you can make it emit a loud sound.

1. Open the SmartThings app and navigate to the FineTrack S details page.
2. Tap the "Ring" button.
3. The FineTrack S will emit an 80dB beep, helping you locate it even in other rooms.

5. Maintenance

Battery Replacement

The FineTrack S uses a replaceable CR2032 button cell battery, offering up to 18 months of battery life. The SmartThings app will notify you when the battery is low.

1. Insert the provided card extraction tool into the small hole on the pendant.
2. Gently open the casing by hand.
3. Remove the old CR2032 battery.
4. Insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
5. Place the battery compartment cover back in place and gently press until it clicks shut.

6. Troubleshooting

• Device not pairing: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your Galaxy device and the FineTrack S is within range. Restart both the FineTrack S and your phone, then try pairing again.
• No location updates: Check if location services are enabled on your Galaxy device. Ensure the FineTrack S has sufficient battery.
• Alert sound too low: The FineTrack S emits an 80dB sound. Ensure there are no obstructions severely dampening the sound.
• "Left behind" notifications not working: Verify that the notification settings are correctly configured in the SmartThings app for the FineTrack S.
