- Never fill the inner pot above the MAX fill line (2/3 full for most foods, 1/2 full for foods that expand like beans or grains).

Setup Before First Use
- Unpack: Remove all contents from the box and packaging materials.
- Clean: Wash the inner pot, lid (including the sealing ring and steam release valve), measuring cup, spoons, and steam rack with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
- Assemble:
- Ensure the sealing ring is properly seated around the lid.
- Attach the condensation collector to the designated slot on the side of the main unit.
- Place the inner pot into the main unit.
- Test Run (Water Test): Before cooking food, perform a water test to familiarize yourself with the pressure cooking function and ensure the appliance is working correctly.
- Add 3 cups of water to the inner pot.
- Close the lid, ensuring it is locked securely. Turn the steam release valve to the SEALING position.
- Select the "Steam" function and set the time to 2 minutes. Press "Start".
- Once the cooking cycle is complete, carefully turn the steam release valve to the VENTING position to release pressure.
- Once the float valve drops, open the lid and discard the water. The cooker is now ready for use.
Operating Instructions
The ICOOKPOT Electric Pressure Cooker features an intuitive control panel with 16 preset functions. Follow these general steps for operation:
General Operation
- Prepare Ingredients: Place your ingredients into the inner pot. Ensure liquid is added as required by your recipe. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
- Close Lid: Place the lid on the cooker and turn it clockwise until it locks into place.
- Set Steam Release Valve: For pressure cooking, turn the steam release valve to the "SEALING" position. For non-pressure cooking functions (like Slow Cook or Saute), it can remain in "VENTING".
- Select Function: Press the "Functions" button to cycle through the 16 preset cooking programs (e.g., Pressure Cook, Slow Cook, Rice, Steam, Yogurt, Sterilize, Saute, Meat, Poultry, Beans, Soup, Cake, Eggs, Porridge, Multigrain, DIY).
- Adjust Settings (if needed): For some functions, you can adjust cooking time and temperature using the "Temp" and "Time" buttons and the corresponding arrow keys.
- Start Cooking: Press the "Start" button. The cooker will begin preheating, then the cooking cycle.
- Pressure Release: Once cooking is complete, the cooker will beep and may automatically switch to "Keep Warm". To release pressure, carefully turn the steam release valve to "VENTING". Wait until the float valve drops before opening the lid.
- Open Lid: Once pressure is fully released, turn the lid counter-clockwise and lift it.

Maintenance and Cleaning

- Condensation Collector: Remove and empty the condensation collector after each use. Wash with warm, soapy water, rinse, and dry.
- Main Unit: Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Never immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
- Storage: Store the clean, dry cooker with the lid inverted or slightly ajar to prevent odors and ensure proper air circulation.
