Important Safety Instructions

When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:

Assembly and Initial Setup

1. Attaching the Casters

Insert the four caster feet into the slots on the bottom of the vacuum tank. Push firmly until they click into place, ensuring the vacuum is stable.

2. Filter Installation

The type of filter you install depends on whether you are performing wet or dry vacuuming.

For Dry Vacuuming:

1. Ensure the tank is empty and clean.
2. Place the reusable dry filter over the filter cage on the motor head.
3. Secure the filter with the clamp ring, ensuring a tight seal.
4. For fine dust, you may also insert the dust bag into the tank, aligning its opening with the intake port.

For Wet Vacuuming:

1. Remove the dry filter and clamp ring if installed.
2. Slide the foam filter over the filter cage on the motor head. Ensure it covers the entire cage.
3. No clamp ring is needed for the foam filter.

Important: Always use the correct filter for the task. Using a dry filter for wet pickup will damage the filter and potentially the motor. Using no filter for dry pickup will damage the motor.

3. Attaching the Hose and Accessories

1. Insert the larger end of the flexible hose into the intake port on the front of the vacuum tank. Push firmly and twist to secure the quick-connect locking mechanism.
2. Attach the desired accessory (floor nozzle, crevice tool, or gulper nozzle) directly to the smaller end of the hose. For extended reach, connect one or more extension wands between the hose and the accessory.

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On/Off

Plug the power cord into a standard 120V electrical outlet. To turn the vacuum on, press the large red power switch located on the top of the motor head to the "I" (ON) position. To turn off, press the switch to the "O" (OFF) position.

2. Dry Vacuuming

Ensure the reusable dry filter with clamp ring (and optional dust bag) is correctly installed. Use the appropriate nozzle for the surface you are cleaning. The floor nozzle is ideal for large areas, while the crevice tool is for tight spaces and corners. The gulper nozzle is suitable for larger debris.

3. Wet Vacuuming

Before wet vacuuming, remove the dry filter and dust bag, and install the foam filter. Do not use the dry filter for wet pickup. When the tank is full of liquid, the float mechanism will rise and shut off suction. Turn off the vacuum, unplug it, and empty the tank before continuing. Do not overfill.

4. Blower Function

The vacuum can also be used as a powerful blower. To activate the blower function, detach the hose from the intake port and insert it into the blower port located on the rear of the motor head. Secure it firmly. This function is ideal for clearing leaves, sawdust, or other light debris from surfaces.

Cleaning and Maintenance

1. Emptying the Tank

Always unplug the vacuum before emptying. Release the latches on the sides of the tank and lift off the motor head. Dispose of dry debris or liquid contents responsibly. Clean the inside of the tank with a damp cloth if necessary.

2. Cleaning Filters

Reusable Dry Filter:

Tap the filter gently over a trash can to dislodge dust. For a more thorough cleaning, rinse the filter under running water. Allow it to air dry completely (24-48 hours) before re-installing. Do not use the filter while wet.

Foam Filter:

Rinse the foam filter under running water to remove debris. Squeeze out excess water and allow it to air dry completely before storage or next use.

3. Hose and Accessory Care

Inspect the hose and accessories for blockages or damage regularly. Clear any obstructions. Wipe down accessories with a damp cloth as needed.

4. Storage

Store the vacuum and its accessories in a clean, dry place, away from extreme temperatures. Ensure the tank is empty and all filters are clean and dry before storage.
