- Install the Latch: Adjust the backset of the latch if necessary (60mm or 70mm). Insert the latch into the door edge, ensuring the 'UP' marking faces upwards. Secure with screws.
- Install the Exterior Assembly: Feed the cable and torque blade through the door hole. Align the exterior assembly with the latch and secure it.
- Install the Mounting Plate: Pass the wires through the mounting plate and secure it to the door using the appropriate screws (Screw A for 45-55mm door thickness, Screw B for 35-45mm).
- Install the Interior Assembly: Connect the cable from the exterior assembly to the interior assembly. Ensure the rear lock knob is in the vertical position. Mount the interior assembly onto the mounting plate and secure it with Screw C. Insert Plug E.
- Insert Batteries: Open the battery cover on the interior assembly. Insert 8 AA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity. Secure the battery cover with Screw D.

- PIN Code Unlock: Enter your 6-8 digit PIN code on the touchscreen keypad. The anti-peep password feature allows you to enter random digits before or after your actual code to prevent others from guessing it.
- IC Card Unlock: Tap a registered IC card against the keypad to unlock. Two IC cards are included.
- Mechanical Key Unlock: Use one of the two provided mechanical keys as a traditional backup method.

7. App Connection (Tuya App)
The Devo G8 Smart Lock features built-in Wi-Fi, allowing direct connection to the Tuya App without an additional gateway. This enables remote control and real-time notifications.

- Download Tuya App: Download and install the Tuya Smart app from your smartphone's app store.
- Enable Bluetooth & Wi-Fi: Ensure your phone's Bluetooth and 2.4GHz Wi-Fi are enabled. (Note: 5GHz Wi-Fi is not supported).
- Reset Lock: Open the rear battery cover of the interior assembly and press the reset button.
- Enter Admin Password: On the exterior keypad, enter the admin password (initial password is 123456) and press the confirm button.
