Important Safety Instructions

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, always follow these basic safety precautions:

  • Read all instructions before using the appliance.
  • Do not touch the evaporator or ice cubes when the ice maker is operating.
  • Do not immerse cord, plug, or any part of the unit in water or other liquids.
  • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.

Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging. Remove all packing materials, including any tape or protective film.
  2. Placement: Place the ice maker on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure there is at least 4 inches of space around the unit for proper ventilation.
  3. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean the interior of the ice maker. Refer to the "Cleaning and Maintenance" section for detailed instructions.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

Operating your Electactic Ice Maker is a simple two-step process:

  1. Add Water: Open the lid and pour potable water into the water reservoir up to the MAX fill line. Do not overfill.
  2. Start Ice Production: Close the lid and press the "ON/OFF" button on the control panel. The "POWER" indicator light will illuminate, and the ice maker will begin the ice-making cycle.

Ice Production Cycle:

  • The ice maker will produce 9 bullet-shaped ice cubes in approximately 6-8 minutes per cycle.
  • The "ICE FULL" indicator light will illuminate when the ice basket is full, and the machine will automatically pause ice production. Remove ice to resume operation.
  • The "ADD WATER" indicator light will illuminate when the water reservoir is low. Add more water and press the "ON/OFF" button to restart the cycle.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures hygienic ice production and extends the lifespan of your ice maker. This unit features a convenient self-cleaning function.

Self-Cleaning Function:

  1. Ensure the ice maker is empty of ice and water.
  2. Add clean water to the reservoir up to the MAX fill line.
  3. Press and hold the "ON/OFF" button for 5 seconds. The machine will enter self-cleaning mode.
  4. The cleaning cycle will run for approximately 20 minutes. Once complete, the machine will stop.
  5. Drain the water by removing the drain plug at the bottom of the unit.
  6. Rinse the interior with fresh water and drain again.

Manual Cleaning:

  • Unplug the ice maker before cleaning.
  • Remove the ice basket.
  • Clean the interior with a soft cloth dampened with a mild detergent solution. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
  • Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Ensure all parts are completely dry before storing or reusing.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your ice maker, refer to the following table:
