Unboxing Your Curling Iron

Upon receiving your FURIDEN Lite curling iron, carefully open the packaging. The device comes securely packed to ensure its safety during transit. Inside, you will find the curling iron, a heat-resistant pouch, and a user manual.

Powering On and Voltage Selection

To power on the device, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds. The LED indicator will light up, showing the current voltage (US or EU) and temperature setting. The curling iron automatically adapts to the local voltage (110V-240V), eliminating the need for manual switching.

Choosing the Right Barrel Size

The 1.5-inch barrel is ideal for chin to armpit-length hair, creating natural beach waves. For tighter curls or shorter hair, a smaller barrel might be preferred, while longer hair might benefit from a larger barrel for looser waves.

Temperature Settings

The curling iron offers three temperature settings: Low (320°F) for smoothing frizz, Medium (355°F) for boosting volume, and High (410°F) for locking in curls. Press the power button repeatedly to cycle through the temperature options.

Curling Hair

1. Ensure the device is in curling mode (plates closed and locked).
2. Select your desired temperature.
3. Take a section of dry hair and clamp it at the root or mid-length.
4. Wrap the hair around the barrel, holding for a few seconds.
5. Release the clamp and gently slide the iron out.

Straightening Hair

1. Unlock the plates to open the device into flat iron mode.
2. Select your desired temperature.
3. Take a section of dry hair and place it between the plates.
4. Gently glide the iron from root to tip, ensuring even pressure.
5. Repeat until the hair is straightened to your preference.

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your curling iron, follow these maintenance tips:

• Cleaning: Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. Wipe the ceramic plates and exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.
• Storage: Store the cooled appliance in its heat-resistant pouch in a dry, safe place, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Use the built-in Velcro strap to keep the cord neatly wrapped.
• Inspection: Regularly check the cord for any signs of damage. If the cord is damaged, discontinue use and contact customer support.
