3. Product Overview

The visiPower Smart WiFi Video Doorbell system consists of an outdoor cat eye camera unit and an indoor monitoring panel. Familiarize yourself with the components and their functions.

4. Setup and Installation

4.1. Physical Installation

1. Prepare the Door: Ensure your door thickness is between 1.2 inches (30mm) and 2.4 inches (60mm). The existing peephole hole should be suitable for the camera unit.
2. Mount the Outdoor Camera: Insert the cat eye doorbell camera unit into the peephole from the outside of the door. Ensure it is securely seated.
3. Install the Indoor Monitor: From the inside, connect the cable from the outdoor unit to the designated port on the monitoring panel. Secure the monitoring panel to the door using the provided mounting hardware.

4.2. App Download and Pairing

1. Download the App: Search for "TUYA Smart" in your mobile device's app store (iOS or Android) and download the application.
2. Create Account: Open the TUYA Smart app and follow the on-screen instructions to create a new user account or log in if you already have one.
3. Add Device: In the app, tap the "+" icon to add a new device. Select "Video Surveillance" > "Smart Doorbell" or scan the QR code on the device/manual if available.
4. Connect to Wi-Fi: Follow the app's instructions to connect your doorbell camera to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Ensure your phone is connected to the same 2.4GHz network during the pairing process.
5. Complete Setup: Once connected, you can name your device and begin configuring settings within the app.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Using the 4.3" HD Display

The indoor monitoring panel features a 4.3-inch IPS touchscreen display. When someone presses the doorbell or motion is detected, the screen will activate, showing a live view from the outdoor camera. You can also manually activate the screen to view outside.

5.2. 2-Way Audio Communication

When a visitor presses the doorbell, you can communicate with them directly through the indoor monitor or via the TUYA Smart app on your smartphone. Tap the microphone icon on the screen or in the app to speak, and the built-in microphone and speaker will facilitate the conversation.

5.3. PIR Motion Detection and Alerts

The integrated PIR sensor detects human movement within approximately 16 feet (5 meters). Upon detection, the device will automatically capture a snapshot or record a video and send an instant push notification to your TUYA Smart app. You can adjust motion detection sensitivity in the app settings.

5.4. Night Vision

The doorbell camera is equipped with infrared LEDs for night vision, providing clear visibility in low-light conditions or complete darkness, up to 16 feet (5 meters). This ensures 24/7 monitoring capabilities.

5.5. Local Storage

The device supports a MicroSD card (8GB-128GB, not included) for local storage of recorded videos and snapshots. Insert the MicroSD card into the designated slot on the indoor monitoring panel. Recordings can be reviewed through the TUYA Smart app.

6.1. Battery Charging

The indoor monitoring panel has a built-in 5000mAh rechargeable battery. When the battery level is low, a notification will appear on the screen and in the app. Charge the device using the provided Micro USB cable and a standard 5V USB power adapter (not included).

6.2. Cleaning

To maintain optimal performance, periodically clean the camera lens and the display screen with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the surfaces.
