5. Setup
5.1 Assembling the Pedals
- Identify the left (L) and right (R) pedals. The pedals are typically marked.
- Screw the left pedal counter-clockwise into the left crank arm.
- Screw the right pedal clockwise into the right crank arm.
- Ensure both pedals are securely tightened to prevent loosening during use.
5.2 Power Connection
- Connect the power adapter to the designated port on the trainer.
- Plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
- The display should illuminate, indicating the device is ready for use.

6.1 Control Panel Functions

- Power Button (⏻): Turns the device on/off.
- "+" Button: Increases speed or program level.
- "-" Button: Decreases speed or program level.
- "M" (Mode) Button: Cycles through display modes (Scan, Speed, Time, Count).
- Loop/Reset Button (↻): Resets current exercise data or selects program.
6.2 Starting an Exercise
- Plug in the power adapter and press the Power button.
- Sit comfortably in a chair. For leg exercise, place your feet on the pedals. For arm exercise, place the trainer on a table and hold the pedals with your hands.
- Use the "+" and "-" buttons to select your desired speed (12 speeds available).
- Press the Loop/Reset button to cycle through the 5 pre-set training programs or select manual mode.
- The pedals will begin to move automatically.
6.3 Training Programs
The VirtuFit MB450 offers 5 pre-set training programs designed for various fitness levels and goals. Use the Loop/Reset button to select a program. Each program varies in speed and intensity over time.
The trainer also features 12 adjustable speed levels for manual control, allowing you to customize your workout intensity.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the trainer with a soft, damp cloth after each use. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the trainer in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
- Inspection: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they are tight.
- Lubrication: The internal mechanism is factory-lubricated and generally does not require additional lubrication.
