To maintain your Insta360 X5, regularly wipe the camera body and lenses with the provided lens cloth or a soft, lint-free cloth. 5. Troubleshooting
5.1 Common Issues and Solutions
- Camera not powering on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a power source and try again.
- Footage appears shaky: Verify that FlowState Stabilization is enabled in the camera settings. Ensure firm grip or stable mounting.
- Poor audio quality: Check for obstructions around the microphones. The built-in Wind Guard helps, but extreme wind may still affect audio.
- MicroSD card errors: Ensure the card is properly inserted and is a compatible speed class (UHS-I V30 or higher). Try formatting the card within the camera settings (this will erase all data).
- Connectivity issues with app: Ensure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on both the camera and your mobile device. Restart both devices if necessary.
5.2 Firmware Updates
Regularly check for and install firmware updates for your Insta360 X5. Firmware updates often introduce new features, improve performance, and resolve bugs. Updates can typically be performed via the Insta360 mobile app or by downloading the firmware to a MicroSD card from the official Insta360 website.
