Setup and Initial Use

Unboxing and Initial Setup

Upon receiving your Cadex VibraPlus watch, you will find the watch itself, a small screwdriver for battery changes, and a spare battery, all securely packaged in a metal tin. Before first use, gently peel off the clear protective film from the watch's display to ensure optimal visibility.

Setting Time and Date

To set the clock on your Cadex VibraPlus watch:

  1. Press and hold the LIGHT button until the seconds display blinks on and off. Release the button.
  2. Press the MODE button once. The minutes will begin to blink.
  3. To advance the minutes, press the ST/STP button repeatedly until the desired minute is reached.
  4. Once the correct minutes are set, press the MODE button once. The hour will start to flash.
  5. To advance the hour, press the ST/STP button. Pay attention to the AM/PM indicator on the display.
  6. After setting the hour, press the MODE button once. The date will start to flash.
  7. To change the date, press the ST/STP button.
  8. Once the correct date is set, press the MODE button. The month will start to flash.
  9. To change the month, press the ST/STP button.
  10. Once the correct month is set, press the MODE button. The year will start to flash.
  11. To change the year, press the ST/STP button.
  12. Once all time and date settings are complete, press the LIGHT button to save the settings. The display will show the day of the week underneath a solid line, the running seconds, and the current time.

Operating Instructions

Setting Alarms

The Cadex VibraPlus allows you to set up to 8 customizable alarms. To set an alarm:

  1. Press the MODE button repeatedly until you see "A1" (for Alarm 1) in the square box on the display.
  2. To set the alarm time, press and hold the LIGHT button until the hour starts to flash and a bell symbol appears.
  3. To advance the hour, press the ST/STP button. Note the AM/PM indicator.
  4. To enter the minutes setting, press the MODE button. The minutes will start to flash.
  5. To change the minutes, press the ST/STP button.
  6. Once the alarm time is set, press the LIGHT button to save the setting. Nothing should be flashing on the display.
  7. To choose the notification type for this alarm, press the ST/STP button:
    • Press once for beep notification (sound symbol appears).
    • Press a second time for vibration notification (vibrator symbol appears next to the bell).
    • Press a third time for both beep and vibration notifications (both symbols appear).
  8. To set additional alarms (A2 through A8), press the RESET button while in the alarm setting mode. "A1" will change to "A2", and you can repeat the steps above.

Using the Interval Timer

The watch features a unique smart countdown timer that allows you to set an interval timer to go off within a specific time period.

  1. Tap the MODE button repeatedly until you see "TR" (for Timer) on the display.
  2. To enter the timer mode, press and hold the LIGHT button until the hour starts to flash. This is where you set the time frame for the interval timer to be active.
  3. To change the start hour of the time frame, press the ST/STP button. Note the AM/PM indicator.
  4. To set the end hour of the time frame, press the MODE button. The hour will start to flash. Press the ST/STP button to adjust.
  5. Once the time frame is set, press the MODE button. The minutes will start to flash. This is where you set the interval duration.
  6. To change the interval duration (in minutes), press the ST/STP button. You can set hourly interval timers or minutes.
  7. Once the interval is set, press the LIGHT button to save.
  8. To start the interval timer, press the ST/STP button. It will begin counting down. The "TR" symbol will flash on the main display, indicating that within the set time period, an interval timer will go off every set number of minutes.
  9. To exit the interval timer mode, press the MODE button.

Lock Feature

The Cadex VibraPlus includes a lock feature to prevent accidental button presses and changes to your settings.

  • To lock the buttons: Press and hold the MODE button and the RESET button simultaneously. The word "LOCK" will appear on the display.
  • To unlock the buttons: Press and hold the MODE button and the RESET button simultaneously again. The word "LOCK" will disappear from the display.

Maintenance

Battery Replacement
