Introduction

The Kooper 114 LED Solar Outdoor Spotlight is designed for illuminating outdoor spaces. It features 114 LEDs, 100W power, and adjustable light levels via remote control. Setup Instructions

1. Unpacking and Component Check

Carefully unpack all components. Ensure the following items are present:

2. Solar Panel Placement

Position the solar panel in an area that receives direct sunlight for at least 5-6 hours daily. Optimal placement ensures maximum charging efficiency.

3. Mounting the Spotlight

The spotlight can be installed freely or mounted on a wall using the included mounting kit. The spotlight features an adjustable rod, allowing you to direct the light as needed. Ensure the mounting surface is stable and secure.

4. Connecting the Solar Panel

Connect the 5-meter cable from the solar panel to the designated port on the spotlight. Ensure the connection is secure to maintain weather resistance.

5. Initial Charging

Before first use, allow the solar spotlight to charge for 5-6 hours in direct sunlight. This ensures the internal 3000 mAh Li-ion battery is fully charged for optimal performance.

Operating Instructions

1. Remote Control Functions

The spotlight is operated using the remote control. Insert 2 AAA batteries (not included) into the remote. The maximum operating distance for the remote control is 5 meters.

  • ON/OFF: Press the 'ON' button to turn the spotlight on, and 'OFF' to turn it off.
  • AUTO: Activates the automatic operating mode (dusk-to-dawn with motion sensor).
  • Brightness Adjustment: Use the brightness buttons (often indicated by sun icons or up/down arrows) to cycle through three intensity levels.
  • Timer Function: Press '3H', '5H', or '8H' to set the spotlight to turn off automatically after 3, 5, or 8 hours, respectively.

2. Automatic Operating Mode

When the 'AUTO' button is pressed, the spotlight utilizes its integrated dusk sensor and motion sensor. It will automatically turn on at dusk and turn off at dawn. When motion is detected within its range, the light will activate at full brightness and then dim or turn off after a period of no motion, conserving battery life.

  • Cleaning the Solar Panel: Periodically wipe the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, leaves, or snow. A clean panel ensures maximum sunlight absorption and charging efficiency.
  • Cleaning the Spotlight: Clean the spotlight lens and housing with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or lens.
  • Weather Resistance: The spotlight has an IP67 protection rating, making it resistant to dust and water immersion up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. While designed for outdoor use, ensure all connections remain secure.
  • Battery Care: The integrated Li-ion battery is designed for long-term use. For best performance, ensure the unit receives adequate sunlight for charging. Avoid prolonged storage in a completely discharged state.
