Triple-Mode Connectivity

Dedicated Macro Buttons & Precision Mode

Setup and Connection Guide

The EvoFox One S controller supports multiple connection modes for various devices. Refer to the connection guide image below for quick reference.

Bluetooth Mode

To connect via Bluetooth, ensure your device's Bluetooth is enabled. Press and hold the specified button combination on the controller until the indicator light flashes, then select 'EvoFox One S' from your device's Bluetooth settings.

• PC X-Input: Press and hold X + HOME
• Android/iOS MFI: Press and hold X + HOME
• Android HID: Press and hold A + HOME
• PS3/PS4: Press and hold HOME
• Switch: Press and hold Y + HOME

2.4GHz Wireless Mode

For 2.4GHz wireless connection, plug the included USB extender into your device and then connect the 2.4GHz mini USB dongle. The controller will automatically pair.

• PC X-Input/Switch: Press and hold LB + HOME

Wired Mode

Connect the controller directly to your device using the provided 0.7m Type-C cable.

• PC X-Input: Connect using Y + HOME
• D Input: Press START + SELECT

Operating Instructions

Macro Button Programming

The M, MR, and ML buttons on the back of the controller are programmable. Refer to the controller's specific programming instructions (usually found in a quick start guide or online support) to record and assign sequences of button presses to these macro buttons.

Precision Mode

Activate Precision Mode to fine-tune joystick sensitivity for enhanced accuracy in games requiring precise movements, such as aiming in FPS titles. The method for activating Precision Mode may vary; consult the quick start guide for your specific model.

Vibration Control

The dual vibration motors provide haptic feedback. You can typically adjust the intensity of the vibration or toggle it on/off through in-game settings or specific button combinations on the controller. The EvoFox One S supports up to 3 vibration levels.

Turbo Function

The Turbo button allows for rapid-fire input of a selected button. To activate, press and hold the Turbo button, then press the action button you wish to apply turbo to. Repeat the process to deactivate.

Maintenance

Cleaning

To clean your controller, use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but ensure no moisture enters the ports or crevices. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

Battery Care

The controller contains a built-in Lithium Ion battery. To prolong battery life:

• Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
• Store the controller in a cool, dry place when not in use.
• Charge the controller regularly, even if not used for extended periods.

Storage

When storing the controller, especially for long periods, keep it away from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, and high humidity. Ensure it is fully charged before long-term storage.

Troubleshooting

Controller Not Connecting

• Ensure the controller is charged.
• Verify the correct connection mode (Bluetooth, 2.4GHz, Wired) is selected for your device.
• For Bluetooth, ensure your device's Bluetooth is on and the controller is in pairing mode.
• For 2.4GHz, ensure the dongle is properly inserted and the controller is in 2.4GHz mode.
• Try restarting both the controller and your device.

Input Lag or Disconnections

• Ensure the controller is within the 10m wireless range.
• Minimize interference from other wireless devices.
• Ensure the controller is fully charged.
• If issues persist, try a wired connection.

Joysticks Drifting or Unresponsive

• The HallSense™ joysticks are designed to prevent drift. If you experience issues, try recalibrating the controller. There is a small reset button on the back of the controller (refer to Figure 4) that can be pressed with a pin for recalibration.
• Ensure the controller's firmware is up to date (check the manufacturer's website for updates).

Vibration Not Working

• Check in-game settings to ensure vibration feedback is enabled.
• Ensure the controller is not in a mode where vibration is disabled (e.g., some power-saving modes).
