3.3. Power Connection
- Insert the included 64GB TF card into the dash cam's TF card slot. Ensure it is inserted correctly.
- Plug the car charger into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket.
- Connect the other end of the car charger cable to the power input port on the front dash cam. The dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when the vehicle's ignition is turned on.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Basic Operation
- Power On/Off: The dash cam powers on automatically with vehicle ignition. To manually power off, press and hold the power button.
- Recording: Recording starts automatically when the device is powered on. A red indicator light or on-screen icon typically indicates active recording.
- Menu Navigation: Use the physical buttons (MODE, UP, OK, DOWN, MENU) on the dash cam to navigate through settings and playback options on the device's screen.
4.2. Dual Recording
The LAMTTO 4K Dash Cam records simultaneously from both the front (4K 2160P) and rear (1080P) cameras, providing comprehensive coverage. The wide-angle lenses (170° front, 130° rear) capture multiple lanes of traffic and crucial details.

5. App Control & WiFi
The dash cam features built-in 5G WiFi for seamless connection to your smartphone via the "Viidure" app (available on iOS and Android). This allows for easy viewing, downloading, and sharing of footage.
5.1. Connecting to the "Viidure" App
- Download the "Viidure" app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
- Turn on the dash cam's WiFi function (refer to the dash cam's on-screen menu for WiFi activation).
- On your smartphone, go to WiFi settings and connect to the dash cam's WiFi network (SSID and password will be displayed on the dash cam screen).
- Open the "Viidure" app. The app will automatically connect to the dash cam, allowing you to access live view, playback, and settings.
Note: Exiting the "Viidure" app or turning off your phone for a while will automatically disconnect the WiFi connection to conserve phone power.

6. Advanced Features
6.1. G-Sensor (Accident Lock)
The built-in three-axis MEMS gravity sensor automatically detects sudden shakes or collisions. When an impact is detected, the current video footage is automatically locked and saved to a separate "Event" folder, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording. This ensures critical evidence is preserved.
Tip: It is recommended to adjust the G-sensor sensitivity to "medium". Setting the sensitivity too high will lock too many files, quickly filling up the storage space and requiring frequent manual cleaning. Setting it too low will cause vibration to not be detected and will not trigger the locking of the video.

6.2. 24H Parking Monitor
The dash cam provides 24-hour parking monitoring. If a collision or significant vibration is detected while the car is parked, the recorder will automatically start capturing and saving video footage, typically starting 15 seconds before the collision, to obtain key evidence.
The built-in 200 mAh small battery can support a small number of triggering parking monitoring events. For longer parking sessions and continuous monitoring, it is highly recommended to purchase and install a dedicated hardwire kit to connect the dash cam directly to your car's fuse box for constant power.

6.3. Loop Recording
The loop recording feature ensures continuous recording by overwriting the oldest unlocked footage with new data when the memory card is full. This eliminates the need for manual deletion and ensures uninterrupted operation.

6.4. Night Vision (HDR/WDR)
Equipped with F1.5 aperture, a 6-glass lens, and HDR/WDR (High Dynamic Range/Wide Dynamic Range) technology, the dash cam delivers clear footage even in low-light conditions. This technology helps to balance bright and dark areas in the image, ensuring details like license plates are visible at night or in dark environments.

7. Maintenance
- Clean the Lenses: Regularly wipe the front and rear camera lenses with a soft, lint-free cloth to ensure clear recordings.
- Check SD Card: Periodically check the condition of the 64GB TF card. While loop recording manages space, it's good practice to format the card every few months to maintain optimal performance and prevent data corruption. (Note: Formatting will erase all data on the card, so back up important files first).
- Firmware Updates: Check the "Viidure" app or LAMTTO's official website for any available firmware updates to ensure your dash cam has the latest features and bug fixes.
- Temperature: Avoid exposing the dash cam to extreme temperatures for prolonged periods, especially direct sunlight in a parked car, as this can affect battery life and component longevity.
8. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Dash cam does not power on. | No power from car charger; faulty charger; loose connection. | Check car charger connection and cigarette lighter socket. Try another power source if available. Ensure cable is securely connected to dash cam. |
| WiFi connection issues with app. | Incorrect WiFi password; phone's WiFi settings; app glitch. | Ensure you are connecting to the correct dash cam WiFi network. Re-enter password. Restart both dash cam and phone. Reinstall the "Viidure" app if necessary. Disable mobile data on your phone temporarily. |
| Video footage is blurry or unclear. | Dirty lens; protective film on lens; improper focus. | Clean the camera lenses with a soft cloth. Ensure any protective film has been removed from the lenses. Check mounting stability. |
| SD card error or recording stops. | SD card full; incompatible SD card; corrupted SD card. | Format the SD card via the dash cam's menu (back up important files first). Ensure you are using the included 64GB Class 10 or U3 Speed Micro-SD Card. Replace the SD card if the issue persists. |
| G-Sensor triggers too often/not at all. | G-Sensor sensitivity setting. | Adjust the G-sensor sensitivity setting in the dash cam's menu (recommended: "medium"). |
