4.2 Connecting the Backup Camera
The backup camera is an essential safety feature. Follow these steps for proper connection:

It shows the red cable connecting to the positive terminal of the car's reverse light and the black cable connecting to the negative terminal. The diagram also indicates that the two red extension cables (3 and 4) do not need to be connected.
- Red Cable (1): Connects to the positive terminal of the car's reverse light cable.
- Black Cable (2): Connects to the negative terminal of the car's reverse light cable.
- The two red extension cables (3 and 4) are typically not required for connection.
Tip: The reverse input cable must be plugged in even if the reverse camera is not being used. Failure to do so may affect Bluetooth and WiFi signal reception.
4.3 Steering Wheel Control (SWC) Connection
The method for connecting steering wheel controls depends on whether your vehicle has a CANBUS decoder.

Image 4.3: Instructions detailing how to connect steering wheel controls. One section explains connecting Key1/Key2 wires in the power cable for vehicles without a CANBUS decoder, requiring manual matching in 'SteeringWheel Key' settings. The other section describes connecting the CANBUS decoder before powering on and configuring it via 'Apps - Settings - Factory Settings (8888/8317) - Vehicle - Automotive type' for vehicles with a CANBUS decoder.
- Without CANBUS Decoder: Connect the plugs or the steering wheel control wires (Key1/Key2) in the power cable to the corresponding port or wire of your original car. Then, navigate to "SteeringWheel Key" in the stereo settings to manually match and activate the button functions.
- With CANBUS Decoder: Connect the CANBUS decoder before powering on the machine. Then, follow this path: Apps > Settings > Factory Settings (8888/8317) > Vehicle > Automotive type to ensure SWC works properly. First, select the brand of the CANBUS decoder, then select the matching model and year according to your vehicle's actual situation.

6. Troubleshooting
- No Bluetooth/WiFi Signal: Ensure the reverse input cable is securely plugged into the stereo unit, even if a backup camera is not installed or used. This cable is crucial for maintaining proper signal reception.
- Steering Wheel Controls Not Working: Verify the correct wiring for Key1/Key2 or CANBUS decoder as described in Section 4.3. For non-CANBUS systems, ensure manual button mapping is completed in the stereo settings. For CANBUS systems, confirm the decoder brand, model, and year are correctly selected in the factory settings.
- Unit Not Powering On: Check all power cable connections. Ensure the vehicle's ignition is on and the fuse for the stereo is intact.
- No Sound: Verify speaker connections and ensure the volume is not muted or set to zero. Check EQ settings for any extreme adjustments that might cause sound issues.
