To clean the device, use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Do not use harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the screen or casing.

5.2 Battery Care

To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. If storing the device for an extended period, charge it to approximately 50% and store it in a cool, dry place. Recharge every few months to prevent deep discharge.

5.3 Storage

Store the radio in a dry environment, away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity. When not in use, retract the antenna to prevent damage.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 No Power

  • Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the device to a power source using the USB-C cable.
  • Verify the power button is pressed and held correctly.

6.2 Poor Reception

  • Ensure the antenna is fully extended and securely connected.
  • Try repositioning the radio to a location with fewer obstructions or electromagnetic interference.
  • Check the selected demodulation mode (e.g., AM for AM broadcasts, SSB for amateur radio voice).
  • Consider using an external antenna for improved performance, especially for shortwave bands.

6.3 Interface Difficulty / Unresponsive Touchscreen

  • Ensure the screen is clean and free of debris.
  • Use the provided stylus for precise input if finger input is inconsistent.
  • If the device becomes unresponsive, try a soft reset by pressing and holding the power button for an extended period (e.g., 10-15 seconds) until it restarts.
