Setup
1. Battery Installation and Charging
Before first use, fully charge the battery. Insert the battery pack into the radio until it clicks into place. To charge, place the radio (with battery installed) into the desktop charger. Connect the power adapter to the charger and a power outlet. The charging indicator light will show charging status.

2. Antenna Attachment
Screw the antenna clockwise into the connector on the top of the radio until it is firmly seated. Do not overtighten.
3. Initial Power-On
Rotate the Volume Knob/Switch clockwise to turn on the radio. Adjust the volume to a comfortable level.
4. Bluetooth APP Programming
The UV-32 supports Bluetooth programming via a mobile application, allowing for easy management of frequencies and channels.
- Enable Bluetooth: On the radio, navigate to the menu and enable the Bluetooth function. A Bluetooth icon will appear on the status bar.
- Device Pairing: On your mobile phone or computer, turn on Bluetooth and open the dedicated programming APP. Ensure the radio is in discoverable mode. Select the UV-32 from the list of available devices to pair.
- Read/Write Configuration: Once connected, use the APP interface to edit frequency parameters, channel groups, sub-tone settings, and other configurations. Write the new settings to the radio. You can also back up existing configurations from the device.

Operating Instructions
1. Basic Operation
- Power On/Off: Rotate the Volume Knob/Switch.
- Volume Adjustment: Rotate the Volume Knob/Switch.
- Channel Selection: Use the Channel Knob or the Digital Keyboard to input frequencies/channels directly.
- Transmitting (PTT): Press and hold the PTT Emission Key (A or B) to transmit. Speak clearly into the microphone. Release to receive.
2. Channel Management
The UV-32 supports up to 1000 channels. Channels can be programmed manually or via the Bluetooth APP. Use the Channel Knob to cycle through programmed channels or enter frequencies directly in VFO mode.
