6.6. Hot-Swappable Keycaps and Switches

The Taiahiro BK981 features a hot-swappable design, allowing you to easily change keycaps and mechanical switches without soldering.

1. Use the included keycap puller to gently remove the desired keycap.
2. Use the included switch puller (if provided separately, or the keycap puller might have a switch pulling function) to carefully remove the mechanical switch.
3. Align the pins of the new switch with the sockets on the PCB and press firmly until it clicks into place.
4. Place the new keycap onto the switch stem.
