Introduction
This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your Outwell Colorado 6 Air 6-Person Tunnel Tent. Please read this manual carefully before using your tent to ensure safe and optimal performance.
Safety Information
- Keep all flame and heat sources away from the tent fabric. The tent fabric is treated with a fire-retardant compound, but it is not fireproof.
- Do not use gas or fuel-burning appliances inside the tent. Carbon monoxide can be fatal.
- Ensure adequate ventilation to prevent condensation and maintain air quality.
- Securely peg down all guy lines and tent corners, especially in windy conditions, to prevent damage or injury.
- Avoid setting up the tent under trees with dead branches or near unstable structures.

Your Outwell Colorado 6 Air tent package includes the following:
- Outwell Colorado 6 Air Tent Flysheet
- Inner Tent(s) / Sleeping Cabins

Setup Instructions

Access and Interior Features
- Front Door: The front door is equipped with double zippers for versatile opening options.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Clean the tent with a soft brush and lukewarm water. Do not use harsh detergents or washing machines, as this can damage the fabric's waterproofing.
- Drying: Always ensure the tent is completely dry before packing it away to prevent mildew and odors. If you must pack it wet, unpack and dry it as soon as possible.
- Storage: Store the tent in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Air Tubes: Periodically check the air tubes for any signs of wear or damage. The reliable and user-friendly inflation/deflation valves are easily accessible on the flysheet.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Tent not holding air | Valve not fully closed; puncture in air tube | Ensure valves are securely closed. Inspect air tubes for damage and repair with a patch kit if necessary. |
| Excessive condensation inside tent | Insufficient ventilation; high humidity | Open mesh vents and rear ventilation. Ensure good airflow. |
| Tent unstable in wind | Guy lines not properly tensioned or pegged | Re-tension all guy lines and ensure pegs are firmly in the ground. Consider using storm straps in very high winds. |
