1. Safety Information

• Placement: Place the walking pad on a flat, stable surface. Ensure adequate clear space around the unit (at least 2 feet on all sides).
• Power: Use only the provided power cord and connect to a grounded outlet. Unplug the unit when not in use or before cleaning/maintenance.
• User Weight: Do not exceed the maximum user weight capacity of 265 pounds (120 kg).
• Children and Pets: Keep children and pets away from the walking pad during operation. This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities unless supervised.

3. Setup and Assembly

The JURITS Walking Pad comes largely pre-assembled. Follow these steps to prepare your device for first use.

Unboxing and Placement:

1. Carefully remove the walking pad from its packaging.
2. Place the unit on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is sufficient space around the device for safe operation.
3. Inspect the walking pad for any signs of damage during transit.

Connecting Power:

1. Locate the power input port on the walking pad.
2. Connect the provided power cord to the walking pad and then to a standard grounded electrical outlet.
3. Ensure the power switch (usually located near the power input) is in the 'ON' position. The LED display should illuminate.

4. Operating Instructions

The JURITS Walking Pad is operated primarily via its remote control. The LED display provides real-time workout data.

Remote Control Functions:

• ON/OFF Button: Press to start or stop the walking pad.
• '+' Button: Increase speed.
• '-' Button: Decrease speed.
• 'M' Button: Cycle through display modes (Time, Speed, Distance, Calories).

Starting a Workout:

1. Ensure the walking pad is plugged in and the main power switch is ON.
2. Stand on the walking pad.
3. Press the 'ON/OFF' button on the remote control. The display will show a countdown (e.g., "3-2-1") before the belt starts moving at the minimum speed (0.6 MPH).
4. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the speed to your desired pace.

During Your Workout:

• Monitor your progress on the LED display. Press the 'M' button to switch between different data metrics.
• Maintain a comfortable and safe pace.

Ending a Workout:

1. To stop the walking pad, press the 'ON/OFF' button on the remote control. The belt will gradually slow down and stop.
2. Once the belt has completely stopped, step off the walking pad.
3. For extended periods of non-use, unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your JURITS Walking Pad.

Cleaning:

• Always unplug the walking pad before cleaning.
• Wipe down the surface of the unit with a damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Periodically vacuum underneath the walking pad to remove dust and debris.

Belt Lubrication:

The running belt requires periodic lubrication to reduce friction and extend its lifespan. Use the provided lubricant.

1. Unplug the walking pad.
2. Carefully lift the edge of the running belt.
3. Apply a small amount of lubricant (a few drops) to the center of the deck, underneath the belt.
4. Plug in the walking pad and run it at a low speed (e.g., 0.6 MPH) for 1-2 minutes to distribute the lubricant evenly.
5. Lubricate every 3-6 months, or after approximately 50 hours of use, depending on usage frequency.

Belt Adjustment:

If the running belt becomes off-center or slips, it may need adjustment. Use the hex tools provided.

• Centering the Belt: If the belt drifts to one side, use the hex tool to turn the corresponding rear roller bolt a quarter turn clockwise. If it drifts to the other side, turn the opposite bolt a quarter turn clockwise. Run the walking pad for a minute and re-check. Repeat until centered.
• Tightening the Belt: If the belt slips during use, turn both rear roller bolts a quarter turn clockwise. Do not overtighten.
