Important Safety Instructions
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury when using your dehumidifier, follow these basic precautions:

- Do not operate the unit with a damaged cord or plug.

- Always unplug the unit before cleaning or servicing.
- Keep out of reach of children. The child lock function should be utilized.
- Use only as described in this manual.

Setup and Installation
1. Unpacking
Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport.
2. Placement
Place the dehumidifier on a flat, stable surface in the area where humidity control is desired. Ensure there is at least 8 inches (20 cm) of space around the unit for proper airflow. This unit is suitable for areas up to 4500 sq ft, including basements, bedrooms, bathrooms, homes, offices, and crawlspaces.

Figure 3: Optimal placement ensures efficient moisture removal across up to 4500 sq ft.
3. Drainage Options
Your Lienuis dehumidifier offers two drainage methods:
- Manual Drainage (1.06 Gallon Tank): The unit will collect water in its internal 1.06-gallon (4L) water tank. When the tank is full, the unit will automatically shut off and display an "FL" (Full) indicator. Empty the tank and reinsert it to resume operation.
- Continuous Drainage: For uninterrupted operation, connect the included 3.4 ft drain hose to the continuous drainage port on the back of the unit. Route the hose to a suitable drain (e.g., floor drain, sink). Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow gravity drainage.

Figure 4: Choose between manual tank drainage or continuous drainage with the included hose.
4. Power Connection
After placing the unit and setting up drainage, plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the unit's requirements.
