3. Setup and Installation
The DELLA 6000 BTU Smart Window Air Conditioner is designed for easy installation in standard windows. Follow these steps for proper setup:
- Window Preparation: Ensure your window opening is between 23 to 34 inches wide and has a minimum vertical clearance of 14.5 inches.
- Secure Unit: Place the air conditioner unit into the window frame, ensuring it is level and securely positioned.
- Mount with Screws: Use the provided screws to firmly attach the unit to the window frame.
- Extend Side Panels: Extend the accordion-style side panels to fill the remaining gaps in the window opening.
- Install Filler Panels and Insulation: Insert the filler panels and insulation strips to seal any remaining gaps, preventing air leaks and improving efficiency.
- Install Lock Frame & Sash Lock: Secure the window with the provided lock frame and sash lock for safety and stability.
- Power Connection: Plug the unit into a standard 115V/60Hz electrical outlet. Avoid using extension cords if possible.

4. Operating Instructions
The DELLA 6000 BTU Smart Window Air Conditioner offers various modes and settings for optimal comfort and energy savings.
Control Panel and Remote Control
The unit can be controlled via the integrated LED control panel or the included remote control. All functions available on the control panel are also accessible via the remote.

Operating Modes
- Cool Mode: Provides cooling with adjustable temperature (61°F-88°F) and fan speeds.
- Dry Mode (Dehumidifier): Reduces humidity in the room.
- Fan Mode: Circulates air without cooling, with 3 fan speeds (Low, Medium, High).
- Auto Mode: Automatically selects the operating mode (Cool, Dry, Fan) and fan speed based on the room temperature to maintain the set temperature.
- Eco Energy Saving Mode: Optimizes energy consumption by cycling the fan and compressor to maintain the set temperature efficiently. The fan runs for 2 minutes out of every 10 minutes when the set temperature is reached.
Special Features
- Sleep Mode: Gradually adjusts the temperature overnight to promote comfortable sleep and save energy. The set temperature increases by 2°F after 30 minutes, then by another 2°F after another 30 minutes, and returns to the original setting after 8 hours.
- 24-Hour Timer: Program the unit to turn on or off automatically at specific times.
- Wi-Fi Smart Controls (Della+ App): Control your air conditioner remotely from your smartphone.
- Geo-Location: Utilize the Della+ app's geo-location feature to automatically turn the unit on or off based on your proximity to home.
