4.2 Wiring Diagram
Refer to the following diagrams for correct wiring. The input power supply must be connected in the correct phase sequence.

Figure 4.2: Panel analysis showing common power neutral wire (N1 A1), backup power neutral wire (N2 A2), common power live wire (B1 C1), backup power live wire (B2 C2), load output neutral wire (N A), and load output live wire (B C).

Figure 4.3: Detailed wiring diagram for the 4P 63A ATS, illustrating connections for Common N, Spare N, Common L1, L2, L3, and Load Output.
Wiring Steps:
- Connect the main power supply (Common Power) to terminals (I) N1 A1 (Neutral) and B1 C1 (Live).
- Connect the backup power supply (Generator) to terminals (II) N2 A2 (Neutral) and B2 C2 (Live).
- Connect the load to the Load Output terminals N A (Neutral) and B C (Live).
- Ensure all connections are secure and properly insulated.
5. Operating Instructions
The DEWIN ATS offers both automatic and manual operation modes.
Video 5.1: Demonstration of the DEWIN ATS operation, showing the automatic and manual switching mechanism and indicator lights.
5.1 Automatic Mode
In automatic mode, the switch will detect the presence of the main power supply (Normal Power) and the backup power supply (Generator). If the main power fails, the switch will automatically transfer the load to the backup power. When the main power is restored, it will switch back.
- Set the selector switch to "Auto".
- The green "Load ON" indicator will illuminate when power is supplied to the load.
- The red indicator will show the active power source (I for main, II for backup).
5.2 Manual Mode
In manual mode, you can manually switch between the main and backup power sources using the green handle.
- Set the selector switch to "Manual".
- Move the green handle to position "I" for main power or "II" for backup power.
- Ensure the load is disconnected before manually switching to prevent arcing.
6. Maintenance
The DEWIN ATS is designed for reliable operation with minimal maintenance. However, periodic checks are recommended:
- Visual Inspection: Regularly inspect the switch for any signs of physical damage, loose connections, or overheating.
- Cleaning: Keep the device free from dust and debris. Use a dry, non-abrasive cloth for cleaning. Do not use liquids.
- Terminal Tightness: Periodically check and tighten all terminal connections to ensure good electrical contact.
- Functionality Test: If safe to do so, periodically test the automatic transfer function by simulating a main power failure.
CAUTION: Always disconnect all power sources before performing any maintenance or inspection.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your DEWIN ATS, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Switch does not transfer automatically. | Switch is in Manual mode; No power from backup source; Faulty wiring. | Set to Auto mode; Check backup power supply; Verify wiring connections. |
| No power to load. | No power from either source; Load output wiring issue; Internal fault. | Check both power sources; Inspect load wiring; Contact qualified electrician if internal fault suspected. |
| Indicator lights not working. | No power to the unit; Faulty indicator. | Check power supply; If power is present, indicator may be faulty (contact support). |
For issues not listed above or if solutions do not resolve the problem, contact a qualified electrician or DEWIN customer support.
