2. Safety Information
WARNING: Carbon Monoxide Hazard
Using a generator indoors CAN KILL YOU IN MINUTES. Generator exhaust contains carbon monoxide (CO), a colorless and odorless gas. You CANNOT see or smell it. If you start to feel sick, dizzy, or weak while using the generator, get to fresh air RIGHT AWAY. See a doctor. You could have carbon monoxide poisoning.
- Always use the generator outdoors in a well-ventilated area, far away from windows, doors, and vents.
- Install battery-operated CO alarms in your home or RV.
- The generator is equipped with a CO sensor that will automatically shut down the unit if carbon monoxide levels become too high. Do not bypass or disable this safety feature.
General Safety Precautions:
- Read and understand all instructions before operating the generator.
- Keep children and pets away from the generator during operation.
- Do not operate the generator in rain or wet conditions.
- Ensure the generator is placed on a level surface.
- Never refuel a hot or running engine. Allow the generator to cool down before adding fuel.
- Use only unleaded gasoline.
- Always check oil levels before each use.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling fuel or performing maintenance.

4. Setup
4.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove the generator from its packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage. The package should include the generator, maintenance tools, an oil funnel, and this user manual.
4.2 Adding Engine Oil
The generator is shipped without engine oil. You must add the correct amount and type of oil before first use.
- Place the generator on a level surface.
- Locate the oil fill cap/dipstick.
- Remove the oil fill cap/dipstick.
- Using the provided oil funnel, slowly add approximately 350 ml of 10W-30 engine oil. Do not overfill.
- Reinsert the dipstick and check the oil level. It should be at the upper limit mark.
- Securely replace the oil fill cap/dipstick.
Note: All generators are functionally tested at the factory, which may result in a slight residual gasoline smell upon receipt. This is normal and does not indicate a used product.
4.3 Adding Fuel
Use only fresh, unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Do not use E85 fuel.
- Ensure the generator is turned off and has cooled down.
- Locate the fuel tank cap on top of the generator.
- Unscrew the fuel tank cap.
- Slowly pour gasoline into the fuel tank, being careful not to overfill. The tank capacity is 1.1 gallons.
- Securely replace the fuel tank cap and ensure the vent is open (if applicable).

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Starting the Generator
- Ensure the generator is on a level surface, outdoors, and away from any combustible materials.
- Check engine oil and fuel levels.
- Turn the fuel cap vent to the 'ON' position (if applicable).
- Set the engine switch to 'CHOKE' (for cold starts).
- Pull the recoil starter handle slowly until resistance is felt, then pull firmly and quickly.
- Once the engine starts, gradually move the engine switch to the 'RUN' position.
- Allow the generator to warm up for a few minutes before connecting electrical loads.
5.2 Connecting Electrical Devices
- Ensure the generator is running stably.
- Plug your electrical devices into the appropriate AC, DC, USB, or Type-C ports.
- Do not exceed the generator's running wattage (1800W) or peak wattage (2500W). Overloading will trigger the overload protection and shut down the unit.
5.3 Eco-Mode Operation
The Eco-mode switch, located on the control panel, allows the generator to adjust engine speed to match the load, improving fuel efficiency and reducing noise.
- To activate Eco-mode: Flip the ECO switch to the 'ON' position. The engine speed will decrease when the load is light.
- To deactivate Eco-mode: Flip the ECO switch to the 'OFF' position. The engine will run at a constant speed, providing full power. This is recommended for starting high-demand appliances.
5.4 Parallel Operation
The Oxseryn EDOG01 generator is parallel-ready, allowing you to connect two identical units for increased power output.
- Ensure both generators are turned off and on a level surface.
- Connect a parallel kit (sold separately) to the parallel sockets on both generators.
- Start both generators individually as described in section 5.1.
- Once both generators are running stably, you can connect your electrical loads to the outlets on either generator.

5.5 Stopping the Generator
- Disconnect all electrical loads from the generator.
- Allow the generator to run for a few minutes without load to cool down.
- Turn the engine switch to the 'OFF' position.
- Turn the fuel cap vent to the 'OFF' position (if applicable) to prevent fuel leakage.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and optimal performance of your generator.

6.3 Air Filter Maintenance
A dirty air filter can reduce engine performance and increase fuel consumption.
- Remove the air filter cover.
- Remove the foam air filter element.
- Wash the element in warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and allow it to dry completely.
- Lightly oil the foam element with engine oil, then squeeze out excess oil.
- Reinstall the air filter element and cover.
6.4 Spark Plug Inspection
Inspect the spark plug for wear and carbon buildup. Replace if necessary.
- Remove the spark plug cap.
- Use a spark plug wrench to remove the spark plug.
- Check the electrode gap and adjust if needed. Refer to the specifications for the correct gap.
- Reinstall the spark plug and cap.
6.5 Storage
For long-term storage, prepare the generator as follows:
- Drain the fuel tank and carburetor. Run the engine until it stops from lack of fuel.
- Change the engine oil.
- Remove the spark plug and pour a tablespoon of engine oil into the cylinder. Pull the recoil starter a few times to distribute the oil, then reinstall the spark plug.
- Clean the exterior of the generator.
- Store in a clean, dry, well-ventilated area.
