1. Safety Information

2. Setup and Assembly

The Pipishell Futon Sofa Bed is designed for easy assembly. All necessary tools and clear instructions are included to facilitate setup within approximately 30 minutes.

2.1 Unpacking and Initial Preparation

• Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
• Lay the futon base upside down on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
• Locate the hardware and tools provided.

2.2 Attaching the Legs

Attach the wooden legs to the designated points on the futon base using the provided hardware. Ensure all screws are tightened securely.

2.3 Cushion Expansion

The futon cushions are vacuum-packed. Allow up to 72 hours for the cushions to fully regain their elasticity and shape after unpacking.

The Pipishell Futon Sofa Bed offers versatile functionality, easily converting between sofa and bed modes with adjustable backrest and armrests.

3.1 Adjusting the Backrest

The backrest features 3 adjustable angles: 105° (upright for sitting), 160° (reclined for lounging), and 180° (flat for sleeping). To adjust, gently push the backrest forward until it clicks into the desired position, then release.

3.2 Adjusting the Armrests

The armrests offer 5 adjustable angles (0°-90°) for customized comfort. Lift the armrest and move it to the desired angle, ensuring it locks into place.

3.3 Converting to Bed Mode

To convert the futon from sofa to bed mode, adjust both backrests to the 180° flat position. The dimensions in bed mode are approximately 66.1''L x 39.4''W x 18.94''H.

4.1 Fabric Care

The futon is crafted with soft and durable corduroy fabric. For general cleaning, use a lint roller or a soft brush to remove dust and debris. Spot clean any spills immediately with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The seat cushion covers are not removable.

4.2 Frame and Legs

The sturdy wood frame and support legs should be checked periodically for tightness. Tighten any loose connections as needed. Wipe wooden parts with a dry cloth.

• Cushions not fully expanded: Allow up to 72 hours for vacuum-packed cushions to fully expand. Gently fluffing them can help accelerate the process.
• Difficulty adjusting backrest/armrests: Ensure the mechanism is fully engaged by pushing the component forward until it clicks into place before releasing. Avoid forcing the mechanism.
• Wobbling: Check all leg and frame connections to ensure they are securely tightened.
