Setup

Powering On

Locate the power switch on the circuit board. Slide the switch to the "ON" position to power on the device. An indicator light on the circuit board will illuminate.

Charging the Battery

The kit includes a rechargeable battery. To charge, connect a USB Type-C cable (not included) to the USB port on the circuit board and then to a compatible power source, such as a computer's USB port or a USB wall adapter. The indicator light may change or blink during charging and become solid when fully charged.

Operating Instructions

Recording Audio

Follow these steps to record audio directly using the built-in microphone:

  1. Ensure the power switch is in the "ON" position.
  2. Long press the 'REC' button (Record Button) until you hear a "beep" sound. This indicates that recording has started.
  3. Speak clearly into the microphone located on the circuit board.
  4. Press the 'REC' button again to stop the recording. A confirmation sound may play.

Playing Back Audio

To play recorded or downloaded audio files:

  1. Ensure the power switch is in the "ON" position.
  2. Press the 'PLAY' button to start playback of the last recorded or transferred audio file.
  3. To adjust the volume, press the 'VOL' button. Each press will cycle through available volume levels.
  4. To stop playback midway, press the 'PLAY' button again.

Transferring Files via USB

You can transfer audio files (WAV format) to and from the device using a USB Type-C cable (not included). The device has 8MB of memory, allowing for approximately 60 minutes of recording time.

  1. Ensure the power switch is in the "ON" position.
  2. Connect the device to your computer using a USB Type-C cable.
  3. Your computer should detect a new removable disk, often named "VMKJ".
  4. You can now copy audio files (WAV format) to this disk or delete existing files as needed.
