Product Overview

The Raddy WF-50 is a wireless weather station designed to monitor indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity. It features a 5.0-inch LCD display that provides real-time environmental data, weather forecasts, and daily MAX/MIN records. The system includes a main display unit and a wireless remote sensor for outdoor measurements.

• Instant Data Overview: The 5-inch LCD screen presents essential information at a glance, including indoor and outdoor temperature (°C/°F), humidity, pressure trends, time, weather forecast, and daily MAX/MIN data.
• Stable Wireless Transmission: Utilizes advanced wireless technology to transmit outdoor data to the indoor display every 30 seconds, with a 330-foot (100 m) range.
• Weather Forecasting: Equipped with a built-in pressure sensor, it predicts 12-24 hour weather trends and tracks the max/min temperature and humidity from the past 24 hours.
• Flexible Power Options: Power the device via USB-C charging or 2 x AAA batteries. In battery mode, the screen offers three adjustable brightness levels. Batteries are recommended as a backup to prevent data loss during power outages.

Setup Guide

1. Unboxing and Components:

   Carefully remove the main display unit and the wireless remote sensor from the packaging. Ensure all components are present.

2. Powering the Main Unit:

   The main unit can be powered via USB-C or 2 x AAA batteries (not included). For continuous display illumination and data backup, it is recommended to use both power sources.

   • Battery Installation: Open the battery compartment on the back of the main unit. Insert 2 x AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
   • USB-C Power: Connect the provided USB-C cable to the main unit and a compatible USB power adapter (not included).

3. Powering the Remote Sensor:

   Open the battery compartment on the wireless remote sensor. Insert 2 x AAA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-).

4. Pairing the Units:

   The main unit and remote sensor should automatically pair once both are powered on. Place them close to each other during initial setup. The outdoor temperature and humidity readings should appear on the main display within a few minutes.

5. Placement of the Remote Sensor:

   For accurate outdoor readings, place the remote sensor in a shaded, dry location, protected from direct sunlight and precipitation. Ensure it is within the 330-foot (100 m) transmission range of the main unit.

Operating Instructions

Display Information

The 5.0-inch LCD display provides comprehensive information:

• Indoor Temperature & Humidity: Located on the lower left of the display.
• Outdoor Temperature & Humidity: Located on the upper right of the display.
• Time: Displayed prominently in the center.
• Weather Forecast: Icons representing Sunny, Slightly Cloudy, Cloudy, Rainy, Heavy Rainy, and Snowy conditions are shown at the top left.
• Pressure Trends: Indicated by an arrow next to the weather forecast.
• MAX/MIN Records: Daily maximum and minimum temperature and humidity values are tracked.

Setting Time and Units

Use the buttons on the back of the main unit to adjust settings:

• SET Button: Press to enter setting mode for time, date, and other parameters. Press repeatedly to cycle through settings.
• +/- Buttons: Use to adjust values up or down during setting mode.
• MEM Button: Press to view MAX/MIN temperature and humidity records.
• Temperature Unit: The display supports both Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F). Refer to the detailed user manual for specific instructions on switching units.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the display unit and remote sensor with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Battery Replacement: Replace batteries in both units when the low power alert appears on the display. Ensure to use fresh AAA batteries.
• Sensor Placement: Periodically check the outdoor sensor's placement to ensure it remains protected from extreme weather conditions and direct sunlight for accurate readings.
