Safety Information

Setup

Unpacking

Carefully remove the lighter from its packaging. Inspect the lighter for any visible damage. If any damage is present, do not use the lighter and contact customer support.

Fueling Instructions

Your Colibri Heritage Cube Lighter ships empty of butane. It requires high-quality butane fuel for optimal performance. Colibri recommends using Colibri Premium Butane for best results and longevity.

1. Invert the lighter, ensuring the refill valve is facing upwards.
2. Press the nozzle of the butane fuel can firmly into the refill valve.
3. Hold for approximately 5-10 seconds. Repeat 2-3 times to ensure a full refill.
4. Wait at least 2-3 minutes after refilling before attempting to ignite the lighter. This allows the gas to stabilize and reach room temperature.

Operating

Ignition

The Colibri Heritage Cube features a single-action ignition mechanism. Depending on the side pressed, it will activate either the torch flame or the soft flame.

• To activate the triple-jet torch flame, press the ignition button located on one side of the lighter.
• To activate the soft flame, press the ignition button located on the opposing side of the lighter.
• Release the button to extinguish the flame.

Flame Adjustment

The flame height can be adjusted using the large flame adjuster located on the bottom of the lighter. Use a small screwdriver or similar tool to turn the adjuster:

• Turn towards the '+' symbol for a higher flame.
• Turn towards the '-' symbol for a lower flame.

Adjust the flame gradually to achieve the desired height. Avoid setting the flame too high, as this can consume fuel quickly and potentially damage the lighter.

Maintenance

Cleaning

To maintain the appearance and function of your lighter:

• Wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish.
• Periodically check the flame ports for any debris and gently clear if necessary using compressed air or a soft brush.

Fuel Quality

Always use high-quality, triple-refined or higher butane fuel. Low-quality butane can clog the lighter's jets and affect performance. Colibri Premium Butane is recommended.

Storage

Store the lighter in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure the lighter is completely extinguished before storage.

Troubleshooting

• Lighter does not ignite or produces a weak flame:
  • Check fuel level through the blue fuel window. If low, refill with Colibri Premium Butane.
  • Ensure there is no air trapped in the fuel tank. Purge the tank by pressing the refill valve with a small tool until all gas escapes, then refill.
  • Adjust the flame height using the adjuster on the bottom of the lighter.
  • Clean the flame ports for any obstructions.
• Flame is inconsistent or sputters:
  • This often indicates low fuel or air in the tank. Refill the lighter after purging any residual gas.
  • Ensure you are using high-quality butane fuel.
• Lighter leaks butane:
  • Ensure the refill valve is properly sealed after fueling.
  • If leaking persists, discontinue use and contact customer support.
